Elejah
Everyone who has ever encountered the Mikelson's would agree that Elijah is the most stable and understanding out of the three.
Unlike his brothers he won't kill you if he finds you a threat. If anything he would try to work it out, keep the peace. Make deals and promises that he always trys to keep.
Let's just say that Elijah Mikelson would have to be the most liked out of them all. But just remember, he's still a Mikelson.
Elijah would like to consider himself a very loyal man. And he is, he's very loyal to his brother and to his family.
But why is it that he can't be loyal to his partner, Hayley.
It started off as a one night stand. He didn't mean for it to happen and with Elena no less. Him and Hayley had gotten into it about the wolf's and Hope. Elijah wasn't insecure about Hayley and how she spent so much time with the man she would of married.
So he didn't know why he brought it up or even fought her on it. He would think about it all the time, but he could never find the reason.
His relationship with Hayley wasn't how it used to be for him. Yes he loves Hayley, but he couldn't denie that over the past couple of months he's been losing interest and slowly falling out of love with her.
Meanwhile with Elena, she somehow always interested him. Maybe it was the fact that they would sneak around all the time to see each other, the thrill he felt when he would go out, wondering if they would be caught. He had his fair shares of affairs before, but for some reason it was different with Elena. Maybe it was the fact that she looked like Tatia, or maybe it was the fact that she left as soon as they were done, leaving him wanting more.
He didn't mean for it to happen but when he left the compound to go have a drink he found Elena. When he saw her there in New Orleans he was surprised, she was by herself so that made him even more curious. There wasn't a Salvatore in sight and he couldn't seem to find any one of her friends either.
So he approached her. He found out she was there because she needed to get away, apparently Damon had smashed her one shot at being human again, so she left.
He felt bad for her, he knew that she never had a choice and he felt guilty knowing it was his own sister who killed her.
So he bought her a drink, it was just one. And than that one turned into two, which turned into three, and than eventually four. Pretty soon they just asked for the bottle.
Elijah also noticed how close they actually were, they were vampires so of course everything was heightened. Especially the lust that he was feeling in that moment. There was so much tension, it also did help with the fact that she would place her hand on his leg. It was like she was doing it on purpose.
Like she knew what she was doing. He never felt like that before, vulnerable. He begged for her touch, to the point where if he had to get on his hands and knee's and beg, he would.
And as they had finished their 20th something drink they had gotten on the topic of relationships and one night stands. Elijah asked her to pretend he was a guy that she was interested in. So she did, she was a bit out of it so of course it wasn't the best, but when she wrapped her arms around Elijah, he lost it.
He smashed his lips hard against her's and you would not believe the satisfaction he got from that kiss. Elijah was a gentleman, but in that moment he was anything but. That's how it normally goes during sex especially if it's just a one time thing.
But it wasn't. Elena had left that morning before he had woken up which sent Elijah into a strange feeling, he was lonely.
So he tried to forget it, but he couldn't. Days have passed and he couldn't forget their steamy night together. So he contacted her and they met up again. And it had happened again, and again and again. Until it just kinda became a routine for them.
