9 - "She defended me without my sight"

"Didn't you take your lunch at the cafeteria ?" I ask him
"No, i take my lunch here always.. you? What are you doing here?" John said
"Obviously taking my lunch ?? " i answered ..
"O--okay? Where's Jen? You alone?"
"Yeah.. its just me.." i responded

Why is he always there bumping around the corner in my life?. This gets creepy. Did this happened accidentally or he knew something about me?

"Don't tell me you always have your lunch here.. you spill me a cold juice before in the cafeteria! You did have lunch there!! You Liar!! " i said to him

My mind still think he's the John i knew, my ex.. i can comfortably speak to him like we knew each other for a long time?

He just responded me with a smirk where it made me more curious ..

This store guy approaches us

"Sir.. i'm having my day-off tomorrow.. Lesley will take over my place i just want you to know.. "

Did that staff just call him SIR??

"Okay Jude, don't worry.."

BIG WHAAAATTT???

"My family were out of town for two weeks i can't have my lunch at school for now as i have business to run.. i'm sorry if i spill that juice in your shirt the last time.. "

"Yeahh.. sorry for calling you liar hehe.. my bad.. "

Now i'm ashamed. Yes.
I'm the over thinker girl

He just smiled at me again..

"Its fine.." he said

Till a moment of silence came out of me..

I never saw him like this..

Chill, no worries, not an over thinker..

The John i knew was an overthinker, serious, quiet, who rarely smiles, secretive, not open to personal conversation and pessimistic

He's the real opposite in his younger self..

His past really did change his future..

We took our lunch together. We talk about a lot of things. He share about his family and told me that his father died when he was still young. (I only knew this now)

He never tell me all these things before when we were together.

Maybe his past with Cathleen really did change him..

Cathleen Gonzales is his ex.. i heard they've been together for almost 9 years.. But then, Cathleen left him and marry a rich old guy..

Now, I'm wondering if he already knew Cathleen now.

The time went by so fast when we had our little talk..

Its already 12:50 PM and our classes start at 1:00PM..

"I guess we have to go.. " John said
"We??.. " i said
"Yeah.. come on "
"Ahmm.. John i know you've heard it. students were talking about me and i don't wanna be noticed .. in short i don't wanna be rumored again with you, you know?"

But the next thing he did gives me chills.. he suddenly grab my hand tight and say :
"You know what .. i don't care "

Then he smiled at me !! agaaaaaiiinnn...

You know what? This is the first time that i felt something like this to him.. he just gaze up on me, while i'm here looking and lost in his eyes feeling hypnotized ..
