"babe what do you think about kids?" i asked Colson while we were watching a movie in our room. "i want them with you. i know i have Cassie but i'd love to have another little one with you" he said. i reaches over and grabbed the resting hiding it in my hand and the sleeve of my hoodie. "what's that baby?" he asked. "um i really don't know when it's a good time to tell you this but um" i said trying to find words. i handed him the test and he just looked at it. "are you for real?" he asked. i couldn't read his emotions and it scared the shit out of me. "yes" i said. "holy shit baby we are gonna have a kid oh my god" he said hugging me and kissing me all over my face. "oh my god you're not mad jesus i'm so happy now" i said sighing in relief. "Phoenix i would never be mad about something like this. i'm beyond happy to have a kid with you" he said smiling holding my hand. "i am too" i said smiling. we continued to lay there watching the movie he picked out holding each other. all of a sudden Colson jumped. "what?" i asked looking at him. "did- you- i- your foot just grazed me and i didn't move" he said. "wait what?!" i asked in a higher pitch than normal. he moved the blanket off of us and looked at my legs. "try to move something" he said. i tried to move my foot and sure as shit it moved. "holy shit" i mumbled. * * "okay Miss Merton so you can move your feet which is strange since you can't move your legs. but this is progress and if it keeps getting better you might be able to walk again" my doctor said. "thank you doctor" i said and smiled at Colson. "baby you're gonna walk again i know it" he said smiling. "i hope so" i said. another doctor walked in since i just made the baby appointment and my whatever you wanna call it appointment at the same time. "okay i'm gonna put this on your stomach it might be cold" she said and i nodded. she put the whatever the hell it is on my stomach and it was cold as shit. she put the little wand on my stomach. "there's your little baby" she said pouting at a little dot on the screen. i smiled and so did Colson. "this is gonna be amazing babygirl" he said and i smiled at him. * * it's been four months and this little one is growing like crazy and i'm starting to be able to walk again. it's honestly crazy. last month i was able to fully move my legs and it just randomly came. i was sitting on the couch with Rook and i went to do something and my legs moved. he noticed it and freaked out. he called Colson who was out with Cassie at the store and they raced home and i showed them. i can walk a little but not for more than like 10 steps. we just got back from the doctors and we got prints of our ultrasound for the baby. it was a baby girl and i'm so excited for it. i can't wait to have my little baby girl running around and spoiling her. i turned on the tv in my room and the news popped on and what i saw shattered me. "this just in famous rapper Machine Gun Kelly or Colson Baker has been in a car accident. his daughter Cassie Baker is being air lifted to Children's Hospital Los Angeles" everything started going fuzzy. no no no. "ROOK WE HAVE TO GO NOW!!" i screamed. he rushed into my room and helped me out to the car. "i just saw it too" he mumbled. we drove to the hospital and i ran in. don't ask how i ran because i have no fucking idea. "Cassie Baker?" i asked the lady at the front. "i'm not legally aloud to tell you this but she's in surgery right now. i know your Colsons girl that's why i'm telling you. he's over there" she said pointing to him at the end. "thank you" i said and ran over to Colson. "baby" i said when i got to him and hugged him. "Phoenix" he said crying. "what happened?" i asked. "paps were following us and i was trying to get away from them. a random car came up next to us and when they hit us we flipped" he said between sobs. "it's not your fault Colson. we will find out who did this and they will pay" i said. "she was just laying there. strapped in by the seatbelt. she had a cut on her head and it wouldn't stop bleeding. she was so hurt" he said crying. "baby she's gonna be okay. she's strong" i said. he just nodded and held onto me tighter. "why aren't you in your chair?" he asked suddenly. "i have no clue. i gained super human strength as soon as we got here" i said with a small laugh. he laughed and shook his head at me. "you're a blessing baby" he said.
