"Baker?" a doctor asked walking into the waiting room. "that's me" Colson said standing up. "your daughter is stable. in total she has 20 stitches and a fractured wrist. you're very very lucky" the doctor said. "oh thank god" Colsons said sighing in relief. "can we go see her?" i asked. "only family can see her" the doctor said snarkily. "she's family ass hole. she's my wife" Colson said. "my apologies" the doctor said panic going through his face. "room 204" he added and we both nodded. "wife huh?" i asked smiling. "hey i had to get you in there somehow" he said shrugging. "fair enough" i said smiling. "plus it'll be true one day" he said smiling. "a girl can dream baby" i said laughing. we got to Cassies room and she was laying there. when we walked in she looked over at us and smiled. "dad" she said smiling. "hey babygirl" he said walking over to her. "are you okay?" she asked him. "i'm fine Cas. how do you feel?" he asked her. "i'm okay. just a little sore" she said. "i'm sorry baby" he said his voice cracking. "it's not your fault dad. you tried your best" she said smiling at him. he smiled weakly at her then hugged her. "can Phoenix come over?" i heard Cassie whisper to Colson. "of course" he said then looked at me and waved me over. i walked over a smiled looking at Cassie. "hey crazy" i said. "hi mom" she said. i looked at her shocked at then looked at Colson. "i- did you just call me mom?" i stuttered out. "yep" she said smiling. Colson was smiling too. oh these little shits had this planned. "is that okay with you baby?" Colson asked. "more than okay" i said. "yesssss" Colson and Cassie both said. "Mr. Baker, your daughter can leave in an hour" a nurse said walking in. "okay. thank you" he said and she smiled then walked away. "yay i get to go home" Cassie said. "yes you do" Colson said laughing.

it's been a week since the crash and everything has been going well. i've finally made a full recovery for the second time and the little baby is getting bigger and bigger. "mom can you help me with my homework?" Cassie asked. "yes ma'am" i said and walked my pregnant ass over to her at the table. "okay what's this?" i asked her. "math" she said groaning. i laughed and started helping her with her work. "god i hate math" i mumbled after helping Cassie with her homework for an hour walking back into Colson and i's room. "same. why do you think i told her to ask you for help" he said grinning. "i hate you" i said. "you love me" he replied. "yes i do" i said
