i woke up to my phone ringing and it was my manager. "hello" "hey so i know you're with kells but Marshall Mathers wants to do a song with you" i say up so fast i think i got whip lash. "as in Em?" i asked. "yes Phoenix. Eminem wants you do be featured on the new sone he's writing" she said. "holy shit. um let me talk to Colson and i'll let you know" i said. "has to be soon Nix" she said and hung up. "so who wants you featured on their new song?" Colson asked me very sleepily. "Marshall" i said. his eyes shit open and he sat up. "that's fucking amazing" he said and hugged me. "yes but don't you guys have beef?" i asked. "eh it's whatever. it's for you. do it. call Sophia back right now and tell her yes" he said excitedly. "okay okay" i said laughed. "hello Phoenix." she said. "tell him i'll fly out tonight" i said. "yes ma'am. i'll send you the tickets and all the info once i get it" she said. "thank you" i said. she bummed and hung up. "looks like i'm going to Los Angeles" i said. now you might be confused. once i had our little girl we moved back to Cleveland. we've been living here for about a year now. Colson and i haven't released anything in almost eight months so the fans are starting to wonder. but it looks like i'm releasing something sooner than i had planned but that's fine by me. i opened my email and saw two round truck tickets to L.A. looks like Colson is coming with me. "babe pack your shit" i said. "why?" he asked. "two round trip tickets to L.A. get ready we have to leave in two hours" i said. he nodded with a huge ass smile and walked into the closet. Rook, Dub, Slim and Travis were gonna take care of Katana while we were gone. they have taken care of her before so i didn't see an issue with it this time around. "this is gonna be wild" Colson said. "well aren't you Mr Wild Boy?" i asked. "yes but this is not my type of wild" he said. i nodded understanding what he meant. he was right. it's gonna be wild.

"okay you have to be at Marshall's at noon so get ready asap" Sophia said through the phone. it was currently ten in the morning and i needed to get up and get dressed. "okay" i said and hung up. "let's get ready babe" i said and Colson nodded. i settled for black ripped jeans with a white body suit and my black vans. Colson had on his usual black jeans with a white shirt and doc martins. "let's go" i said and we walked out the door. "this is going to be so strange" he said. i laughed and nodded my head. it was about a twenty minute drive to Marshall's house and when we pulled up i was in shock. he was the type to gloat his money around but he lived and a upper class family house. no mansion or anything of those sorts. "wow" i said. "yea wow is right" Colson said. "well let's go" i said smiling and we walked up to the door. i knocked and i heard a loud ass bark. "of course he has a big ass dog" Colson said. "babe it's fine" i said laughing. the door opened and i saw Marshall standing there with a huge and i men's huge ass Rottweiler standing next to him. "good to see you guys made it. come in" he said and stepped out of the way of the entrance. i smiled and walked in as well as Colson. "i should prolly properly introduce myself. Marshall" he said sticking out his hand. "Phoenix" i said smiling and shook his hand. "and then the blonde don couldn't forget you" Marshall said laughing while sticking his hand out for Colson to shake. Colson laughed and shook his hand. "alright down to business. i have a few songs and you can experiment on each one to see what style you like better since they a kinda different songs. or you can pick by name. your choice" Marshall said to me. "i'd like to experiment with each one. see what one my voice will sound better on" i said and he smirked. "she knows what she wants Colson. keep her" he said laughing. Colson just smirked and then we all walked down to his little recording studio in his house. he had three songs lined up each different. this is gonna be fun.

"okay i just called Rook he will be here in ten" Colson said as we stood outside the airport. i finished recording with Marshall in two days shorter than i had expected and we were now back home. "song is a surprise drop it'll come out in three days" i said. "fuck yea babe" he said. three days passed by fast. from taking care of Katana, to running around town with Rook and Slim, helping Colson set up his concerts, making sure everything was perfect on the new song. and before i knew it we were all sitting in the living room with youtube opened and we were waiting for the drop. the boys were itching to hear it as well as Colson since he wasn't allowed to listen to the making of it per my request. i like to surprise him once in a while. it's fun. "it's dropped!" Rook yelled and clicked on the video. let's see how they like it.
