Hey loves! So sorry for the late update, I've just been going through a lot personally (when aren't I tho tbh). This is just a little fluff chapter because I needed to smile and I needed to see characters I love smile as well. So no drama, no fighting, just wholesome moments that I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
Love you always!

Kayla's PoV:Damien and Sasha both lean back laughing, as they stand up from the table. "Did Sasha just.." I pause in my statement
"Tell me he hasn't satisfied me enough to get into danger? Hell yes."
"So those little butt-munches really just used the same line on us."
"Oh they very much did," Seb responds as we watch the two men walk away from us. Before they leave the dining hall, we watch them laugh and high-five each other, clearly proud of throwing us off of our game. I turn around and take a deep breath, wanting to shake the ever-increasing dirty images from my mind.
"Anyways, they both said they'll be gone for the rest of the day, and since yesterday was Friday, this is our weekend. Why don't the three of us go out, get some groceries, shop a little bit, and then make some dinner as a group for when Sasha and Damien come back?"
Gemma sits up excitedly, clearly happy to be included since she had been a fifth wheel at breakfast, "Okay, if we go shopping, we have to get cute matching outfits! I want a cute outfit just because it's fun, but you too clearly need payback on those dorks. Maybe by the time they come back they'll have some information about Jasper, and my outfit will make him regret ditching for the past little while, but either way, we're doing this. " Seb and I smile at her, happy that she's able to easily distract herself from otherwise rough situations.
The three of us clean up our dishes and make our way out of the building. I look at the pair beside me, hoping at least one of us has a car because I taxied my way here. Seb ends up leading the way and we make it to his olive green Subaru.
“Ladies, meet Sulivan. Ha, get it? He’s Sulivan because he’s… a van,” Seb jabs us with his elbow jokingly, waiting for us to react or laugh.
“Okay, mom, let’s just go before your puns kill us all,” Gemma jabs as she jumps into the back seat. “What? It’s socially acceptable to stretch out and lie down in the back, who needs to be a grown-up?”
“Fair, I guess that means I have a shotgun!” I respond, walking around to the other side of the car. Once we are all settled in, Seb starts the car and drives out of the parking lot and onto the road, hopefully to the store. However, with Seb in control, who knows where we will actually end up? Eventually, we made our way to the mall, and as Seb finished parking, he turns to us, suddenly becoming very excited.
“Fun first, groceries second,” He states, jumping out of the car. Honestly? Completely sound logic. Gemma and I quickly follow him out of the car and we make our way into the mall. Linked arm in arm, the three of us march into the first store we see selling PJs and buy matching sets for all three of us and our partners. The rest of our time at the mall follows fairly similarly, and by the time we make our way to the food court, we have about five extra bags each than what we planned on getting.
As Seb and Gemma joke and goof off as we eat, I breathe out a sigh I wasn't aware I was holding. The academy has recently become this bubble of drama and upheaval, and to get a moment to live normally and have time with friends is one of the best gifts. We don't leave the mall for about another hour, and as we walk out the doors, we are already brainstorming different recipes for us to attempt to make tonight.
Eventually, we settled on attempting to make baked ziti and we pull up recipes for it on Pinterest looking up recipes. After finally finding one that we agree on, and having already gotten to the grocery store, we divide the list into three parts and split up, each of us rushing to find our own parts of the list.
Getting back to the academy was easy. Why wouldn't it be? Now, the challenge is that somehow as a platonic group of friends, we have to work together as a sub, switch-ish, and a Dom. I put all of our groceries onto the counter and begin to organize as Gemma and Seb descend into chaos. Grabbing a spatula and a whisk, the pair begin sounding out lightsaber sounds pretending to have an epic battle. I roll my eyes, doing my best to not join in. If someone does not keep us on track with what we need to do tonight, we will never get the food ready. After much convincing, I finally get them to help me with the prep.
“You know, for the most bottom of the three, good job at taking the reigns just then," Seb jabs at me jokingly.
"Haha, real funny Sebby. Now get your ass in gear and help me cook before Sasha and Damien get back."
"So I see we are officially on a first name basis with Professor McHottie. I have to say, I like the two of you as a couple."
"We aren't a couple yet."
"From breakfast this morning, I would say otherwise, sexy-pants," Gemma chimed in, sitting on the counter rather than helping.
"He wants to wait until we sign a contract. I guess, with everything that happened before…" I pause, not wanting to bring up details, "Damien really wants to make sure I know I have complete control of my limits and safe words. Apparently we are going to have a date and talk about everything soon."
"Oooo you should wear that cute lingerie you bought today!" Seb chimes in as he continues to stir the cooking pots and pans.
"Or better yet, why don't you rewear that white set he had you in the first time he saw your sexy ass tied up!" Gemma jokes, but actually gives solid advice about how to drive him wild. Eventually the food is all prepped and we throw it into the oven, not forgetting to set a timer, unlike when I regularly cook.
After we finish cleaning up, we spend the last twenty minutes of the timer setting up the dinner table and making it look like a fancy home dinner. The timer rings, and Gemma and I run to the oven as Sebastian pulls out his phone, dialing Sasha's number.
Game night should be fantastic.
