Paperjam giggled happily as he swam through the surprisingly big tunnel that ran through out the ship. The only room the tunnel didn't go to was the "weapon room" aka the area they fire cannon balls and such things at other ships.
Ink shook his head some, swimming down into a large pool. They were in the back of the ship, the one with the large windows.
Waiting there, with impressed looks, were the pirates. Ink chuckled at them, finally grabbing their attention.
"Nav has truly out done himself." Ink hummed happily, looking around the beautifully made room.
Error nodded, staying quiet. Honestly, with how well built and beautiful the ship was, it made the waiting all worth it. The place was big enough to hold so many people and he saw the brigs. Damn, he could almost throw an entire kingdoms bastard children in there! So, there was plenty of room for the tailed beings to have their meals.
"Well of course! I'm expecting to see many lives roaming about this ship!" The ancient human hollered almost happily.
Ink gave a happy laugh, leaning over the pool, dropping some water on the carefully crafter marble floors. It truly was going to be a wonder if the ship actually sailed!
"Now, how does she sail? She's too big to go by wind and sea alone." Even though Fresh was addressing the master shipmen, his attention was to the odd table. It had strange symbols scribed into the side of it. At times, he was certain they were glowing.
Nav grinned widely, making the Royal raise an eyebrow. He hadn't seen that smile before... It was a wonder and something that made him curious.
The old human then turned to Ink and Paperjam, both creatures watching him carefully now.
"I discovered your ability, My Majesty!" He cried out, and if he had the ability to jump up and down, everyone was positive that he would've done so.
His statement caused both tailed beings to raise an eyebrow. They knew what he meant, but how could he have discovered their ability?
"How could you have discovered it? You have only gone to the Kingdom twice in your life time." Ink hummed, leaning forward even more. He had to see this.
Fresh and Error looked at each other, completely confused. What was this ability that they were speaking of? It had to be something that was within the Mer-people Kingdom, which now knowing about it was something worthy to be written down!
The ancient human wheeled over to the table, his grin never faltering. When he was by the table, he gripped the side tightly, heaving himself out of his new invention. He breathing became a bit ragged as he leaned forward, pressing the palm of his hand into one of odd symbols.
Swiftly, the symbol glowed brightly and then did the table. Soon, light emitted from the metal-wood, quickly showing many numbers and information that was written in different colors. Then at the center of it all, was a miniature version of the large ship in all of it's glory.
The pirates jolted up and away from the table, their swords drawn. Their eyes were wide with fear and confusion. Yet, the tailed being were anything but that.
Paperjam jolted up onto the edge of the pool, gasping in wonder as he stared happily at the glowing hologram. Ink gave a surprised hum before grinning.
"You seem to only know how to impress me, Nav." He called out, giving the inventor a hearty clap. "I thought it would take a hundred years after your own death before any mortal knew of this power."
The pirates whipped their heads over to the Merman, their expressions showing the complete surprise.
"This is common?" Error shouted, getting a snickering look from the Merman.
"Like you'll ever see it now~" The tone made the Captain blush softly. It was strange.
Error then huffed, glaring at the other. Ink smirked back at him, being completely relaxed.
Quietly, there was a rough, hacking like cough that interrupted anything that was to happen. Nav was back in his wheelchair, softly smiling to them.
"This will tell you how the ship is as well as alert you where any enemies or allies are!" The old man turned toward the Royal Merman, his grin growing. "I was inspired by your Castle."
Ink softly chuckled and nodded, saying nothing else while Nav went back to explaining how the ship worked.
He quickly showed Error and Fresh how to activate the map and how to add things to the table. He also explained the the power source to the ship could only reached by the water ways and even then there was a door to stop anyone from just entering and severing the power source from its place.
Error and Fresh listened deeply, finding all of this to be... Futuristic. Honestly, they were surprised to be able to have this grand ship. They'll make sure to keep her well taken care off. Besides, she was probably going to be the best ship they will ever have.
