Error laughed at his stumbling, drunk crew. He couldn't believe how they couldn't handle the alcohol! Seriously, only he and Fresh were the sober ones! The others were being idiots that were singing odd songs and hugging each other.

Fresh shook his head, a small smirk on his face. He found the stumbling crew as funny as his Captain, but he preferred not to laugh about it loudly.

"Come on, let's check up on the new ones." Fresh whispered since they were still near other pirates. Pirates that would love nothing more than to start a war with them to get to the mythical beings.

The darks skeleton nodded, him and his old friend walking down to his cabin. Most of the other pirates believed that Fresh and Error were married, so they didn't really get much looks. Of course, this usually caused a few humans to give them a look of disgust, but the two were more intimidating enough that they were usually left alone.

The two opened the door to the Captain's room to see the Merman and the Siren sleeping. The Merman's grip on the young one was lose, but firm.

"Guess, they passed out." The Captain mumbled, setting his hat on his desk.

"Don't you find it weird? The way Ink had acted when you tried to take Paperjam away?" The other mortal asked, his eyes showing mild curiosity.

The cruel monster nodded. He did notice the fear in the mythical one's eyes. He noticed how he clung to the younger tightly, as if afraid of something worse than just being separated from them.

"I have a feeling, this isn't his first run down with pirates." The Captain groaned, rubbing his eyes sorely.

Fresh nodded, his eyes turning to look at the Siren. He didn't know why, but he felt the urge to hold the little being, to be near them. It was an odd feeling, a feeling that probably was going to get him killed. No, it most certainly will get him killed.

Suddenly, the Siren started shifting, whimpering some. Ink responded to the shifting by clinging to the little one, gently turning some to have them slightly submerged into the water. Paperjam calmed some, latching onto the older tailed being, mumbling some words.

The pirates looked at each other, shrugging in confusion. They knew that the kid was saying he loved someone, but who? Ink had said that the child was his last of his kind... Was he saying that he loved Ink?

As highly as that was, the two still doubted it. However, they ignored it the seemingly meaningless mumbles and mapped out where they were going next. They were mainly thinking of raiding some islands or some docked areas that weren't heavily guarded.

The two whispered amongst themselves as to not disturb the sleeping beings in the room. They talked about islands that would be easy to raid or steal from and though of areas where they could look for treasure. They might as well look for treasure while they're moving about, right?

"Αδέρφια? Σε παρακαλώ, κάνε ησυχία." Ink shifted in his sleep again, completely submerging the Siren in the water as he did so. His words, though, caused the two pirates to stop. They didn't know what else to do, since the most dangerous creature was literally sleeping a few feet away from them. (Brothers? Please be quiet.)

"Okay... So what are we gonna do with those two? We can't watch them all the time and we can't have anyone else do it. Nor can we just sell them, we can still get something from them." The parasite mumbled.

Error agreed, but it was more than just profit he was after now. He liked how tough the little Merman was, even if it all was a guise. He also was finding himself enjoying the small bits of defiance amusing to witness. Plus, Error knew that other pirates would use him and the siren to kill many people, including himself. At the moment, it was too dangerous and interesting for them to sell or release the tailed creatures.

"We keep them from now. They share separate tanks, you watch Paperjam and I'll watch Ink. When we no longer have any use for them or we get all the information we need, we'll sell them at a high price."

The skeleton pirates agreed to the terms and set to it. Fresh pried the little one away as the other slipped back down into the water, sleeping deeply. It was easy to assume that the Siren hummed out a lullaby or something close to that.

Afterwards, Fresh warmed the water that the Siren had to stay in a small bit. He didn't want to here any complaining about the cold water. Then, he went to sleep, he did drink after all.
