3rd Person POV...

"I don't like the idea of working with you." Gojo huffs, pouting like a spoiled child while Toji rolls his eyes and continues to pack the weapons. They got a call from the Zen'in family who wanted to help in the assistance in finding young Megumi. Why wouldn't they? They need the powerful boy.

"I'm getting my son. I don't care about your personal feelings." Toji growls in annoyance at the white haired childish male. Naoya pays no attention to them as he waits for them to finish. Toji knows he hasn't been the best father, how could he with such a terrible family he grew up with.

"Try to get along. Gojo sensei has been super stressed." Nobara snaps, attitude in her tone. She wanted to defend her teacher who was usually never so serious. She understands the scary feeling of not knowing, of the chance that one of her best friends could be dead or possibly worse. Toji's eyes narrow at the glaring girl as he lifts the weapon bag easily. "Little girl, shut your mouth. I don't care about his feelings. We have a mission to do. My son needs me. I won't deal with your back talk."

The group makes their way out to the others who look exhausted, tired from overworking their bodies with the never ending curses coming their way. "We need rest, it's getting dark." Maki states. Gojo looks away, lost in his intense thoughts of his Megumi. What if he's hurting his baby? What if he is torturing him? How can I rest knowing he needs me?

"Gojo, I know what you're thinking. We can't save Megumi if we're weak. He's strong, he can handle himself till tomorrow-"

"It's not just tomorrow. You imbeciles don't even know where he is. We're going to be running in circles." Naoya snaps, cutting Nanami off. The group is set up to spend the night at the Zen'ins —much to the family's disapproval— and are to get up early to leave the premises to find Megumi and kill Sukuna.

As to be expected, Satoru Gojo is unable to sleep. He's so use to sneaking into the teen's bed at night to hold him tight. Megumi will grumble but he will always lean into his touch. He didn't realize that what he did every now and then became a everynight necessity. His warmth and comforting scent would melt all his worries away.

He's anxious, his hands trembling as he sits on the porch and stares up at the moon. His blindfold placed beside him. Thoughts swarming, overwhelming to the point he might get a headache. Toji then sits beside the silent man, clenching his jaw. "What are you doing?"

"..." How could Gojo tell him that he can't sleep without that man's teenage son? That he foolishly fell for the boy with the pretty eyes and is unable to be without his presence? He decides it's best to stay silent. Toji lets out a grumbling noise as he rests his arms on his knees.

"When I first met you, I hated you. That hasn't changed." He begins. Gojo snickers as he grins, looking at the man. "You are obnoxious and a pervert. I especially didn't like your weird obsession with my son. You came around too much and I didn't like it. I realized it was because I wasn't ready for Megumi to pay attention to anyone but me."

Gojo understands that. That's why he was always so clingy with Megumi, it was his way of telling him that he is still here. That nobody is going to take his Fushiguro away. The man was always whining and pouting when Megumi would give his attention to Nobara and Itadori of whom he's grown close with. Tch, homewreckers.

"The only reason I didn't do anything about this was because the brat liked you. I hated you more when you took him from me. I didn't disagree with your offer because... Megumi had already grown an attachment to your presence. You would be a better guardian for him than I could." Toji's lips form a frown, Gojo could tell the man was missing his boy.

"I see what has happened. You and Megumi don't have a family relationship. It's more than that and it makes me want to hit you." Toji sighs, his rough hands covering his face.

"Truthfully, I can't function without Megumi. It's weird, I didn't know I was so dependent on his domestic behavior." Gojo laughs but it's sad, reminiscing and aching. Toji knew exactly what the man was speaking of without him having to say it.

"I know exactly what you mean. I was a wreck... I am a wreck without my boy." Toji's voice was laced with pain. Megumi would always cook for Toji and take care of him while drunk and when he was hungover. He regrets it all because Fushiguro is an only child, his baby, and he had forced him to become an adult because he didn't know how to father him. Satoru was used to Megumi cooking delicious meals for dinner and even making him lunches. When his body felt stiff or even after a difficult mission, he would massage the pain away and always let the man cuddle and smother him with affection even if he was awkward with it because of Toji.

"I didn't appreciate what I had. He's my son and I failed him the minute he was born. You've done well, I always hear great things about him from his cousins and sister. I hate you but... you're good for him. That's enough for me. Sleep you bastard, I want to find him tomorrow." Toji leaves the sorcerer alone.

Gojo sighs, laying fully down on the porch. "Ahh Megumi... wait a little longer for me." He whispers, closing his eyes after he puts his blindfold back on.
