3rd Person POV...

"Fushiguro." Poke. "Fushiguro wake up. You've been sleeping forever." Megumi hears a familiar whine. Sleepily, he raises his head and see's Itadori with his head tilted, resting on his crossed arms as he stares directly at his best friend. Itadori has his arms on the bed while on his knees so he is able to be face to face with Fushiguro. With a glare, Megumi pushes him away. "Hey! That hurt!" He whines, rubbing his forehead.

"Itadori, what are you doing in my bedroom? I'm clearly trying to sleep." Megumi complains. Itadori ignores his friend's obvious dismissal, crawling into bed next to him. Megumi feels arms wrap around him and a chest press against his back. Itadori has been like this for an entire two weeks now, crawling into bed for cuddling and following Megumi around like a lost puppy.

The pregnant teen wouldn't admit this out loud but he enjoys the comfort, he feels lonelier than ever without Sukuna. Sometimes the clinginess irritates him but... just every once in awhile he allows it to happen without complaint. The raven relaxes into the hold, letting sleep take over and not soon after Itadori is asleep too.

Curses roam around Sukuna's massive home, keeping watch to make sure no one gets in. Everyone is gone even Uraume and the only residents are Megumi, Itadori, Aoi, Aoi's baby, and the growing tigers. Aoi has been tired a lot recently so Megumi doesn't make him do too much, only eat and drink here and there. Fushiguro took the responsibility of feeding the baby.

The shaman doesn't mind it, he goes to the places he's familiar with. He usually starts the day off with breakfast of which he and Itadori make together and they either spend most of the day relaxing in the library room together or in the gardens. Dinner is also made by Megumi with Itadori's poor attempts to help but he ends up too flustered which leads to mistakes along the way. While some might consider this consistency boring, Megumi and Itadori don't mind it.

It's strangely peaceful, the silence is calmly consuming. Megumi is glad to have Itadori close, he feels if the boy weren't here to distract him then he might have ended up crying himself to sleep every night. His insecurities and sense of disquietude devour his mind as his baby grows bigger. Fushiguro can't help but agonize over his concerns for his friends and Sukuna. Are they okay? Did we lose someone? People are dying because I had fallen for a curse that only causes harm, I chose him over everyone and my friends might die because of my selfishness and greed.

Itadori —who usually is a deep sleeper— wakes as he feels the trembling of Megumi. "Fushiguro? What's wrong? Am I hurting you?!" He asks worriedly, leaning over to check the boy who lays on his side. Itadori places his hand carefully on the baby bump first to make sure before looking at his friend's face. Megumi turns away, feeling shame for being emotional. "Fushiguro...?"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." Megumi apologizes meekly, clenching tightly onto his pillow. Itadori mindfully moves over Megumi's body, gently grabbing his wrists and turning him so he's on his back. He hovers over his body while Megumi avoids eye contact. "What are you doing?" He questions.

"You're sad and it's not good for you mentally to go to sleep like that. Talk to me, I'm a great listener." He chuckles with a bright smile. Megumi clenches his jaw, closing his eyes while inhaling and exhaling deeply. Itadori is patient while waiting for Megumi to talk about his problems. Realizing the vulnerable position he put his crush into, his face heats up as he pulls away. "Sorry sorry!" He chuckles awkwardly, putting both hands up on surrender.

Although, strangely enough, Megumi doesn't look mad at him. Itadori sat in front of him with his legs crossed, a reassuring expression on his face. Megumi sits up, his belly bulge making it difficult to pull his knees to his chest but he manages the best he can with his arms wrapping around them. "...Do you think they're okay?" His voice is barley above a whisper as he makes eye contact with his benevolent friend.

"Huh? Kugisaki and Gojo Sensei? Don't worry about any of them, they are badass." Itadori's confident smile eases Megumi a bit and has him smile a little. "Hey, Fushiguro, is that what you've been worrying about? Don't be! They weren't forced to go and if they weren't capable then Nanami and Gojo Sensei wouldn't have let them."

Megumi chuckles, a genuinely content smile on his pretty face making Itadori's heart nearly pound out of his chest. "I truly didn't mean to be selfish, I didn't want to be that person but it seems I'm just as bad-"

"Don't say that! You're not greedy! It's okay to go after what you want even if nobody gets it." Itadori blurts out, cutting Megumi off. His attempts to soothe didn't quite work out like he wanted as Megumi has this distance in his eyes. It wounds Itadori to see that look, even when his friend looks at him it's as if he's looking for someone else... wishing he were someone else. Whether that be true or not, he wishes Fushiguro was better at hiding it.

"Hey...are you okay? I know we didn't get to talk after I left you with the others. I didn't think you wanted to speak with me ever again after everything. We're friends so I think it's okay to be honest with one another. You went through a lot so-"

"Megumi." Itadori's face changes and his tone is oddly serious making the boy flinch slightly. All banter left and the aura shifts uncomfortably. Itadori doesn't always call the boy by his name like that so he had a feeling he made some sort of mistake at this moment. "You're asking something you won't like the answer to. I want to enjoy this time I have with you without anything to disrupt it."
