3rd Person POV...After Megumi ate his breakfast and got ready, he followed Sukuna out their bedroom. Itadori returned still in his cage in the corner of the room, Megumi didn't ask the curse where he was taken. "Sukuna? Where are we going?" He asks, unsure as to why the King was holding onto his hand as they walked.
"I was going to challenge you but I don't want to risk anything so we'll work on training your Ten Shadow Technique. You're unable to use them all at once, correct?" Sukuna questions. They enter Megumi's large garden and he finally let's go of the younger's hand as he turns to face him.
"Right..." He hesitates to reply, unsure if he should. Either way, Sukuna has fought him before. He's seen Megumi use his technique before, knowing he can't use all ten doesn't do much. Sukuna will still be stronger than him, it changes nothing. "I've managed to be able to combine, use two at once... Max Elephant uses too much cursed energy, I can't bring another shadow."
"I see... how interesting. Let me see it." Sukuna says. Megumi clenches his jaw, using it will tire him out. Is it a smart move to do it or is Sukuna trying to weaken him? No, he doesn't need to do this to make Megumi fall to his knees. He sighs, obeying what Sukuna has asked of him. The massive elephant crashes down to the ground, shaking it.
"What do you use it for?"
"...Offense and support. I have it crush the enemy with it's massive weight when it's summoned. I don't use to as much, like I said it requires a lot of cursed energy." Megumi says. Sukuna runs his hand along the beast before Megumi let's it go. It vanishes, leaving just the two.
"How do you feel?" He questions, caressing the side of Megumi's face. He's confused by the affectionate action but nevertheless he leans into it. This makes Sukuna happy, truly happy. Fushiguro feels he will never understand the curse that was breaking his bones and being rough with him one minute and now here he is, caressing him and asking if he's alright. "Tired." He admits.
"Hmm, I didn't mean to overwork you my love. Here, let's take a walk. I want to hear more about you." Sukuna holds Megumi's hand in such a manner that would assume he was protecting something fragile. The teen nods, walking with the curse. Numerous different flowers in full bloom with healthy leaves and bushes caught his eye with the colors.
Pinks with reds from the Peonies, Buttercups, Azaleas, Camellias, Lilies, Dark Eyes Fuchsias, Dianthus, and many more. Blues, yellows, purples-all of it is so bewitching to the eyes. The air is so fresh, it feels like a breath of reliever to his lungs. "What do you wish to know about me?"
"Anything, everything."
"...I dislike red peppers. I enjoy foods that pair well with ginger. In school I learned to play the piano, I haven't done it since I was twelve but I believe I am still capable of playing." Megumi stops to smell a rose as red as blood, crimson like the eyes that watch him with admiration.
"I don't have much to say. I'll answer any questions you have for me." He says, turning his head so his ethereal eyes meet the king's. He's so vulnerable, so beautiful. How is it possible for a human to be completely flawless? Sukuna can't wait to marry him, the wedding preparations are almost complete. They are to be wed at the end of the week. Their honeymoon is what Sukuna is most excited for, it's all planned out.
"What about your family? You have potential to become the next leader of the clan." Sukuna asks as they continue walking. Megumi is barefoot but he isn't complaining, the grass below him is soft and feels nice.
"Zen'in Clan leader? They are your enemies, aren't they?" Megumi questions. Sukuna chuckles, knowing his mate is right. He despises the entire Zen'in family, all except Megumi. "I can't become leader even if I want to, I'm an omega. Omegas are only used as breeding tools. My father... wanted to keep me safe from them."
Sukuna erupts into laughter causing Megumi to tilt his head slightly. "Those incompetent fools! They dare treat you like that? My love? My Megumi? You are more worthy than any Zen'in to be born! They will regret it, say it and I'll make them regret it." Sukuna cups his face, giving him an Eskimo kiss. Megumi can't help the small smile that tugs at his lips.
"Thank you... but it's okay. My cousin Maki is pushing herself to prove worthy to become leader. More than anything, I want her to succeed. She deserves it, she has it much harder than me. She never stood a chance just because she was born a woman. Proving those misogynistic men wrong will truly make me happy, she can do it without anyone's help." Megumi giggles, a smile on his face. Sukuna feels his cheeks become hot, it was a new feeling and he doesn't mind it.
He leans in, kissing the teen's lips. It's soft, barley touching but enough to cause tingles on the younger's lips. His eyes widen, cheeks flushing before he closes his eyes and leans into him. Pulling back, Megumi sighs softly. "Sukuna... I'm not going to run or pull away from you anymore. Partly because I know you wouldn't let me leave even if I cried and begged but also because... you're right. I was scared and the first person I could think of to help me was you."
"I don't want to be afraid of you, I don't want to keep anything from you so don't keep anything from me. I don't want you to hurt my friends, please don't." Megumi pleads, wrapping his arms around Sukuna as much as he can. The King is enormous compared to Fushiguro's slender form.
"I could care less if any of them die. Aside from you, I truly don't care about anyone's life." Sukuna says honestly, wrapping all four of his arms around his mate. Megumi knows this, knows Sukuna doesn't care about whether they die or not.
"I know that but... don't go out of your way. Sukuna, I'm giving you me. Isn't that what you wanted? I want to be equal to each other, I want you to respect what I want like I will try to understand and respect you. I don't want to put effort if you won't." Megumi says firmly. Sukuna decides it's best to be honest, what does he gain from lying? So he won't say what he knows the human desires to hear.
"If they challenge me, I won't hold back. My Megumi wouldn't dare ask me to get hurt just because you care for them would you?" Sukuna's upper arms cup his face, leaning down. Their lips are so close that Megumi's lips tingle at the feeling of the curse's warm breath. He doesn't know exactly when or why this happened, but he began to want to be with Sukuna.
He hasn't been kind, he caused Itadori to be harmed and has been very forceful with what he wants. Yet at the same time he's been sweet and has taken care of Megumi's health. Uraume said that Sukuna massaged his pain away, he put effort in. He isn't perfect but neither is Megumi. Sukuna is his firsts and now they are going to be a family. As much as Megumi never wanted this, never wanted a family, he doesn't want to push Sukuna away after how far they've come.
Maybe it's Megumi's fear of being alone, perhaps it's due to his abandonment issues and weak mentality. His morals are shot, as long as he can think of why what is wrong is right then he'll make himself believe it. Sukuna is different from humans, different from the people that told the boy they'd stay only to leave. If Sukuna says he's staying then he means it. When he says he's going to do something, he does it.
"No... I won't ask you to do that."
