3rd Person POV...Uraume cradled the naked baby, cleaning him of the blood. "Perfect." Sukuna whispers, pressing a kiss against Megumi's forehead. His beloved didn't respond to him so Sukuna listened. His Megumi's breathing becomes shallow, his grip on their hands loosening. "Uraume, put that thing down!" Sukuna snaps, noticing how his heart rate is dangerously slowing down. Aoi is forced out of the bedroom by Uraume before he assists with the healing.
The infant begins to cry loudly, only irritating Sukuna as he cups his Blessing's face and kisses him deeply. The two use their technique to heal to body. "This isn't right... when did that happen..." Uraume mumbles out loud. For the first time in a long time, a genuine emotion is shown on his face. Pure horror, absolute fear and worry. Sukuna becomes desperate, using his full power to bring back his Megumi.
"Wait! Master Sukuna stop! You'll only make it worse by doing that! It'll be too much to handle!" Uraume shouts, trying to stop the King of Curses. He pulls back, all four of his crimson eyes searching for any movement on his face. His eyes are closed, dark lashes are all he sees. He doesn't see his resplendent eyes glaring at him or showing that despite how cruel his words can be, his eyes give away his love for Sukuna. His usually pink lips have paled with the rest of his body. He's lost too much blood, he's limp and doesn't make any movement.
"His ribs are broken, he's lost too much blood. Going too fast is going to effect him greatly-"
"I'm not going to lose him. My Queen is strong, he can take it." Sukuna snaps, healing what was broken and ruptured inside his small body. Uraume clenches his jaw, doesn't matter if he cares for Megumi. Sukuna is his master, he is to obey no matter what.
The baby's hair is dark, much like Megumi's. His eyes are quite lovely, crimson like Sukuna's with bright green flecks all around. The green was impossible not to see with how it coated all over.
He has the same tattoo under his eyes but he has no other curse features. Like his mother, he only has two eyes and two arms. The baby shows signs of awareness, looking around. He cries, a call for his mother he desires. Unfortunately, it seems Megumi is yet to respond. Everything inside is forcefully put back to it's original state, his heart is what Uraume focuses his power on. He needs it to beat, for the blood to flow like it's meant to.
"I told you you aren't allowed to leave me. So stubborn, don't do this." Sukuna growls, trying to be patient with his healing of his precious wife's body. He despises to admit it so, but Uraume is right. Going too fast is only going to cause more damage. It has to be done correctly and carefully, with much patience and caution.
Sukuna remembers when that brat ate his finger. How he was so enthusiastic to be back, he didn't even notice Megumi at first. When he did, when Gojo sat on his back while hunched over, that's all it took. One look into those eyes and he felt hunger.... desire for Megumi. Perhaps it was simply insatiable hunger, nothing more and nothing less.
No, he see's now how foolish that was. Fighting Megumi Fushiguro showed him what he really wants is to be with this boy for an eternity. The world he had plotted to destroy, to rid of humans, it all had no purpose if this angelic boy wasn't in it. How dare Megumi try to leave him like this, after everything he's done. Sukuna can't love him like Megumi wishes, he is unable to treat him like a kind human would. He isn't human, he is a cruel being that will never be human —again— or share their complex emotions.
All he knows is that Megumi is his blessing, the being that brings a monster like him light, makes him do things no one could ever make him do. If it pleased Megumi, he would tear his own heart out of his chest and offer it up to the teen. Why? Well, Megumi is the only person this King will bow down to without a fight, he will cherish the ground he walks upon. Is it wrong for him to be affectionate in that way with all the terrible things he's done to Megumi? He certainly doesn't understand if he's ever done wrong towards Megumi, everything he's down was to express his loyalty and how deep his desires go.
His beloved had to see just how far Sukuna would go for him, how far his devotion would be. What is this strange feeling? My heart seems to be cold, this aching is intensifying. Megumi is worthy of a name meaning Blessing, he is the exact definition of it. Sukuna will slaughter every last living being, no one dare live in this world if his mate no longer exists in it. Everlasting, something Sukuna could promise his wife. It's true, who would stop them? Who could possibly kill them? No one holds the power to do so.
Megumi often feels disappointed, furious, and betrayed by Sukuna. The curse is quite demanding, it doesn't matter if it's inside or outside bedroom acitvites. Sukuna tends to ignore the words he wishes not to hear, he won't help anyone unless it's Megumi. While to some that might be enough, it isn't for the omega. While he will no longer age, no longer have to fear death as Sukuna's link... he still has the feelings and heart of a human.
He isn't as cold as some may believe, he truly does care. To think he'll have to continue on in life while seeing his friends, the ones he loves, live and die is truly a horrifying thought of what is to come. He dare not think of how heartbroken he'll be when Toji, Itadori, and Gojo die. Megumi suffers inside knowing those he can believe in, those that mean the world to him will no longer exist in his eternity with Sukuna. Is it worth it? He often ponders that thought, is it worth the pain and hurt he goes through with Sukuna?
Then he remembers the moments that warmed him inside. Ones he will never forget, how Sukuna always heals him. Why would the curse do that? He doesn't have to, but he does. When he soothed his aching muscles while he slept, he tried to deny that but he no longer ignores what is right in front of him. Sukuna is forceful but he doesn't treat Megumi as if he is a pathetic, omega weakling. He believes in him, knows he is strong and sees the worth he couldn't. It often makes him smile when he remembers their honeymoon, how they spent the entire night playing Monopoly.
Such adorable expressions crossed the Curse's face, how he'd get frustrated, angry, and shockingly even pouty. He isn't a boardgame person, that much is obvious. Megumi loved to watch him, see how emotions do exist inside the demon. Being embraced by Sukuna makes him feel complete, no harm can come his way as long as he is being held like that. Sukuna would die to protect Megumi and he would do the same without a moment of hesitation.
Sukuna can't love him, but Megumi remembers how he said that what he feels is much stronger, much more deeper than a human's fleeting love. Then, Megumi knows it to be so. Whatever Sukuna feels towards Megumi truly is... all he's ever wanted. He'd cry about the ones he loves, he'll miss hearing their voices and their presence. The question remains, is Sukuna worth it all? Sukuna believed Megumi was worth destroying the world for, worth putting effort in to attempt human activities which clearly aren't his fortay.
Simple answer is... yes. To Megumi, Sukuna is worth the suffering as long as they can stay together. With a thump of his heart, Megumi gasps upon his awakening. He's weak, can barley move his throbbing body but it's enough for Sukuna who embraces his mate. Four arms cautiously and protectively hold the much smaller body, his face nuzzling into the teen's neck.
"You foolish boy, you terrified me." Sukuna's voice held desperation, showed how fearful he truly was to almost lose Megumi. Weakly, he wraps his slender arms around Sukuna's neck. His body is exhausted from being put through such a arduous birth. "I'm not going anywhere..." He weakly promises before falling into a deep sleep.
