3rd Person POV...

Megumi opens the enormous fridge to see numerous options. "Wow, this is a lot of food." He whispers aloud in surprise. His stomach growls eagerly. He closes the fridge, going through the cabinets. "I also wanted to thank you for devoting your time to protecting me... I'm sure you'd rather be somewhere else."

"Somewhere...else? What's important to Master Sukuna is important to me as well which means you must be protected at all costs. I feel honored to be given that task, Blessing." Uraume says as he begins to move around the kitchen, preparing to make a dish for the queen to eat. Megumi smiles a bit, watching him with much interest.

"You've been making my food this entire time?" Megumi questions. He always wondered in the back of his mind who was this skilled, surely they wouldn't keep a human happily alive to cook meals for Megumi. He was sure Sukuna doesn't have any trust in any mortal... except Megumi. If Sukuna didn't, he wouldn't leave Fushiguro alone like this.

"I have been, if you have any complaints I'll adjust to suit your tastebuds." Uraume apologizes, looking at Megumi expectantly. He chuckles awkwardly, shaking his head side to side. Uraume gives him a confused expression.

"That's not it, I wanted to say that I love it. You're good at cooking. It's nice." He compliments unsurely. Uraume's eyes sparkle at the praise, a satisfied smile on his face as he continues cooking. Megumi watches, observing the step by steps of what he has to do to make it. Uraume is extremely focused, careful and precise with each movement and addition he does.

Once it's finished, he serves it to Megumi. "You didn't make yourself any?" He asks. Uraume simply shakes his head 'no'. Megumi takes a bite and it melts on his tongue, he lets out a slight moan at the taste. "This is delicious." He compliments before taking another bite. Swirls of flavors hitting his tastebuds, ascending him to heaven.

"I'm glad you think so. It's healthy and it's good for pregnancy. I wanted to find dishes you'd enjoy that won't make you nauseous." Uraume explains. Megumi stops chewing, remembering that fact made him lose his appetite but he didn't want Uraume's food to go to waste. He continues to eat it, remaining silent. The curse doesn't seem to mind as he occupies himself with cleaning.

Uraume sure is a mysterious one but he supposes he is a mystery himself. He doesn't necessarily talk about himself or his past, what he's been through or experienced. It's irrelevant in his opinion so he knows he should probably feel that way when it comes to Uraume's past but he can't help but be curious. A curse being extremely loyal to another curse? How strange.

"When is Sukuna coming back?" Megumi questions, looking up at him. He suddenly feels a wave of sleepiness hit him and he doesn't want to go to sleep alone. Not right now, not with knowing Itadori is angry with him, not with the unknown if Gojo is mad at him. He's hurt by it all and most of all by them not respecting his choice even if it may seem wrong to them it feels like the right choice to Megumi.

"Soon, Blessing." Uraume replies. Megumi nods, rinsing off his plate before he is escorted back to his bedroom. When he gets inside he avoids looking at Itadori, just laying down in bed. Megumi summons his divine dogs who wrap themselves around the boy, keeping him warm and protected. He holds onto their furs, nuzzling into them. It feels safe like this and it helps his mind clear and allow him to sleep.

Itadori sighs, laying his face down onto his arms. "Fushiguro...why?" He mumbles to himself. He doesn't see what Megumi could see in Sukuna. He hates this, hates that him and his best friend are fighting. He cares about him, he doesn't want anything to come between them. Especially Sukuna.
