3rd Person POV...

Sukuna carries Megumi back to their room, filling the bathtub while making sure to include scented bubbles. He gets into the bath with the sleepy, worn out boy. His powerful, muscular arms wrap around his mate tightly, protectively. "I wanted to... talk to you about something important. You won't understand but I want you to try." Megumi says, placing his hands on top of the arms around him.

The curse nods, nuzzling his face into the crook of Megumi's neck to breathe in his heavenly, ethereal scent. "Even if it kills me, I want to have this baby. If I die... I don't want-"

"Stop. Don't you dare continue saying such things." Sukuna snaps, cutting Megumi off. He wanted nothing more than to have the one who means everything to him to have his child. Fushiguro Megumi is his beloved, his obsession, his soulmate, his omega, and his blessing. Megumi's love is enough for the both of them —since Sukuna is unable to feel emotions such as love— his heart is something so beautiful that Sukuna wishes he could truly touch it, truly feel what Megumi does.

Reality is much harsher and crueler, Sukuna can never have emotions or feel like Megumi does. He'll never understand why Megumi wants to protect strangers, save animals, or even why he's willing to risk his life for those unworthy when his life is much more precious. Sukuna sees the beauty born within Fushiguro Megumi, sees all the potential he carries.

"Promise to protect our child, don't despise him or her for something out of their control. The baby is innocent. Listen to me, for once just... have a conversation with me as an equal. This isn't something that only you get to decide and I just have to accept it. We need communication." Megumi pleads, holding onto Sukuna tighter.

Megumi is suppose to be by Sukuna's side, he is suppose to live in the new world as the cherished and exalted Blessing. How can they be together for an eternity if Megumi dies? How dare he ask Sukuna to care for their child while the curse is left knowing that thing killed the only person Sukuna has ever treasured. "You're insensitive for asking that of me when I will only ever protect you. I could never shelter that thing if it were to end your life. I could only loathe that abomination." He says lowly, revulsion evident in his tone.

This hurts Megumi's heart immensely, how can Sukuna say that about their baby? "Sukuna please, I'm begging you. Don't punish our child because I ended up being too weak to survive. Why can't you see how desperate I am? I want to know I can rely on you, this is important to me." Megumi covers his face as tears force their way out, streaming down his flushed cheeks. Sukuna clenches his jaw, turning Megumi around so he's straddling the curse and they are face to face. His grip on the boy's hips are firm but not with intent to cause him harm.

His upper hands grab the boy's thin wrists, pulling them down to show glossy, crestfallen eyes. "You'd be willing to leave me then? You'll sacrifice your life for something that can be made again? If I were to destroy this one and we tried again, it won't effect our connection to one another. Yet you have already accepted your fate of death, you're willing to desert me entirely. You say I'm being unreasonable but how about you?!" Sukuna questions with a stentorian voice.

Megumi's eyes are wide in horror, disbelief, and fear. "You... you'd hurt me? You would kill our baby? How... how can you say such a terrible thing? You're vile!" He cries trying to pull away from Sukuna in a panic. The curse keeps a tight, bruising grip on the teen causing him to yelp at the pang.

"Unlike you who insensitively shares his affections, their is only room for one and that person is you. If I didn't care for you, you would've been killed. I would've done such unimaginable things to you before killing you that would be considered vile. Instead, I treat you better than anyone else has and you are still the one behaving selfishly! I told you that if you die I will kill everyone and I meant it with every fiber of my being. You die and I will end the lives of your friends slowly and painfully, I will destroy that abomination for taking your life-"

"Stop! I don't want to hear it anymore! I hate you!" Megumi continues to struggle against the much stronger curse. He despises himself for believing that Sukuna would do this for him, for senselessly trusting a curse. He's both weak mentally and psychically against Sukuna and it seems emotionally too. Only he has Fushiguro crying like this, his crumbled walls desiring to rebuild but unable to do so with how strong Sukuna holds them down.

Sukuna laughs scarily, his eyes murderous. "You hate me? Hate me?! You want me to make you hate me then Fushiguro Megumi? I've tried playing nice to gain your endearment but it seems you only understand when you realize how pathetic you are against me." This man is dangerous, Megumi seems to forget. He was so lost in the loving moments, so distracted and caught up he's forgotten Sukuna is the enemy.

"Remember when you felt a kick? When you were sharing a memorable moment with me? How can you still be willing to do this? To me? What is this... is this what being loved by a curse is like? If that's so then I rather be dead-"

"Open your pretty eyes and stop acting like a querulous brat. That moment is long gone since that thing became a threat to a planned future I created for us. Your death would make the new world meaningless. You must still be ignorant to speak to me like this, everything I do is for you and I've told you the same thing numerous times. Killing the abomination will keep you alive, I'm willing to do this by myself. All you have to do is accept it." Sukuna demands, leaning up so he and Megumi are much closer than before.

The teen refuses, he won't allow Sukuna to kill their baby. Especially not for his life he feels is unworthy to save in place. "No, I won't. Not this time, you won't get your way. Let me go, you're hurting me." Megumi mumbles weakly, his eyes no longer shedding tears as they appeared so frail, so lifeless. Sukuna will not allow Megumi's life to end, they are suppose to live eternally hand in hand.

Sukuna allows Megumi to get out the bathtub, watching as he wraps a towel around his body after drying and leaves the bathroom. Risk, it's all just a bunch of risks. Sukuna is prepared for the consequences that will befall him for what he's about to do to his Megumi, he's prepared to deal with the aftermath of it all because as you see... it's all for Fushiguro Megumi, his treasured wife.
