Destiny (Killua x Reader)

Caught ✕ In ✕ Danger

After a long, awkward silence, Killua finally lifts the blanket.

The two of you quickly sat up as you distanced yourself from each other, panting.

You tensed up, your hesitance to speak causing your lips to quiver.

The room was filled with unbearable silence as you sat on the bed nervously.

"What did he do that for...?" You thought to yourself, your face still stained with a bright red blush.

Killua struggled to think of an explanation for what he did before.
"Damn, I really shouldn't of done that... Now she probably thinks I'm a pervert or some kind of creep."

Killua jumped off the bed and left the room without leaving an explanation.

"I'll go sleep on the sofa, goodnight."
He muttered as he quietly closed the door.

"It's probably better to keep quiet than to make up a weird excuse. I hope she forgets about it by tomorrow..."

You laid down on the bed as you started organising your thoughts.

"Will I be okay...? At least I think I can trust Killua... but what was-"
You fell asleep before you knew it, since Kikyo had put heaps of stress on you.

For you, too much things has happened. Your life completely changed since that day... where you lost everything.

You slowly opened one eye as you suddenly felt pain on your cheeks.

"You're finally awake." Killua said with a giggle.

"There could of been a better way to wake me up!" You exclaimed exasperatedly.

"You should be thankful that I came all the way to wake you up, idiot."

You stared at him, pouting. Just as you were about to get up and start a fight with Killua, the door abruptly swung open as Kikyo walked in.

She raged at the sight of you still being there.
"Wha- Kil, didn't you get rid of her last night?!"

Killua glared as his mother with a smirk on his face.
"Are you blind? Can't you see that she's still here?"

Kikyo grew exasperated with Killua's disobedience.

"Get rid of her this instant or I'll have Illumi take care of her."
She threatened furiously.

Killua froze on the spot and gritted his teeth.
"Dammit. I definitely can't get rid of her! I want her to stay by my side... but I can't let her be with Illumi, who knows what that freak will do to her?"

While Killua was lost in thought, Kikyo was glaring at you.

"Know your place, you filthy little girl!"
She demanded insolently.

You kept your mouth shut to avoid further arguments.

Either way, you were too agitated to do anything.
"W-What should I do now?!"

All of a sudden, someone grabbed onto you. Before you could even react, you were taken out of the room.

By the time Killua came back to his senses, you were already gone.

He looked around, searching for you.
"(y/n)? Where did you-"

Then he immediately realised what had happened.
"Illumi..." He sent a glare to his mother as he instantly dashed out of the room.
