Killua darted across the corridor, desperate to find you.

"Where the heck did Illumi take her?! If something happens to her, I..."
He was incredibly flustered by your disappearance.

"If only I had been paying attention to her, this wouldn't have happened... dammit."
Killua bit his lip, feeling extremely regretful.

Your P.O.V
I suddenly got grabbed by someone, the movement was so fast that I couldn't even react to it.

Before I knew it, a familiar shadow was standing before me.
"Who is this person...?"

This strange man maliciously walked towards me as he forcefully pushed me to the wall.

His emotionless eyes observed me closely, interrogating me with a ruthless countenance.

He held a malicious presence, and I felt uncontrollably frightened. Despite his stony and expressionless appearance, he seemed to be... vengeful.

I could feel a dark, venomous aura surrounding him. I writhed in agony, as it was painfully threatening just to be near him.

"Kil doesn't need friends, he doesn't need you."

He said to me in an eerily monotonous voice, his eyes sharpening with the intent to kill.

"I'll get rid of anyone who tries to get in our way."

Your life flashed before your eyes. You thought it was finally the end.

All of a sudden, you felt a pair of arms around your waist, pulling you away from Illumi.

A small blush consumed your cheeks as you looked back to see Killua wrapping you possessively in his arms.

"Don't touch her..."
He muttered, intensifying the atmosphere.

You could feel Illumi's bloodlust as he approached the two of you mercilessly.

"That's enough Illumi, let them be for now."
A voice ordered as an elderly white haired man showed up from behind.

"Kil, go back to your room."

Killua let go of your waist as he grabbed onto your hand and guided you back to his room.
"Thanks, grandpa Zeno..."

As you reached the room, Killua shut the door and looked at you intensely.
"(y/n)... it's too dangerous for you to stay here any longer..."

You looked down, feeling remorseful for all the trouble you had caused him.
"It's alright Killua, I'll leave now."

Killua could hear the resolution in your voice.

"Let's... escape. We'll escape together."
He suggested, a serious smile engulfing his face.

"I don't want to cause you anymore trouble! There's no need for you to leave your home just for my sake..."
You hollered, as tears start to fill up your eyes.

Killua turned away from you as he was starting to grow exasperated with your inability to notice his feelings.

"Am I the only one who thought we were friends already?"
He mumbled, with a hint of loneliness in his voice.

These words replaced the bitter coldness of loneliness in your heart with an indescribably kind and amiable ray of warmth.

You etched out a smile as you stretched a hand towards him.
"Thank you, Killua..."
