Roman's POV

"Roman," I hear her say, but this is the first time I've gotten a full amount of sleep for two months so I ignore her. "Roman." She shakes me again.

I groan at her annoying ass who decided to wake up at the ass crack of dawn for no damn reason!

"How do you open the blinds?" she asks.

I reach over to the side table with my eyes still shut and hand her the remote. The light is felt come onto my face, but there's about to be a rainstorm so there isn't much sun. She lays her head back against my chest, letting me go back to sleep.

An hour later:

She pulls my arm after using the restroom and forces me to follow behind her. I lazily walk to the living room as she presses the button for the curtains to open, making excitement fill in her instantly. My arms are over her shoulders while she's facing her back towards me, her entire body resting against mine. Her eyes are laser-focused on watching the large city with slight rain and a bunch of cars with people driving and walking around, though I still don't get how she finds such enthusiasm in things like this.

I never really gave a shit about living here, but by the way she just lights up while staying here, fuck am I glad I bought this place.

Alaiya; even though she cried a little in my arms last night about the shitty thing her mom did which I'm still pretty pissed about, still looks as perfect as ever as she's looking up at me with the slight tilt of the head. I lean down to kiss her while putting my hand lightly on her throat, and right as she kisses me back and begins to match my pressure, the annoying ass speaker beeps to ask to let someone up.

Why!

"It's Landon," he quickly says, and I already know what this is about.

I walk over and let him up even though I really don't want to.

Alaiya looks a little confused, though I'm sure Landon will explain or yell it perfectly.

The elevator dings as I'm standing with her again, and Landon walks in with a stack of magazines and papers in his hands.

Oh great.

"I gave you one rule," he yells as he stomps in.

"How the fuck was I supposed to know they'd follow me at one a.m?" I defend.

He glares at me as he pulls out his phone and presses play. "...and remember to always be cautious of the paparazzi," he exploits the recording he made when I was signing my contract.

"ALWAYS!" he shouts after turning off his phone.

I roll my eyes at him because it's not that big of a deal.

Landon realizes that we're not alone when he looks over at Alaiya who looks worried about this situation. He takes a deep breath out before changing his tone and body language completely.

"Hi, I'm Landon." He shakes her hand with a smile.

She shakes it back, still very confused but it's Alaiya so she can't be not nice for a second.
