Hi!!!

So if you're a recent reader, then you may not know that I tried to write Roman and Alaiya's second book and I really was having a hard time because although I love writing about them and wanted to continue on their story, I was just having really bad writer's block and it was because of the way I had laid out the story. So, I took it down and decided to not write it anymore, and then of course my indecisive ass decided to start it up again, only with a different plot and basically a different everything.

I'm not sure when I'll start posting, but when I will, it probably won't be one by one. I'll most likely just post the entire thing at once.

But anyways, that book is going to be a full-length book, maybe not as long as Worse for Better, but still fairly long. Also, it's going to be counted as the sixth book in the WF series, but could also be counted as a sequel to Worse for Better. Basically, if you don't want to wait for the other books to come out or just aren't a series type of person, you can just read the sixth one, but there will be spoilers from their friend groups books so if you don't want to know what happens in their books, I wouldn't recommend reading it until the other books have come out.

If you would like anything included in the book that you wanted to see more of, didn't get to see at all during the first book, or just want to see a specific trope or scene with Roman and Alaiya; let me know because I'm still halfway into writing it and could always use inspiration.

Also, very important!!! If you or someone you know draws or makes covers, please, and I mean please help a girl out. I've been trying to draw my own but I for some reason forgot that I don't have any artistic bones in my body and can't draw for shit.

Anyways, here's a little sneak peek:

♡  Alaiya's POV:  ♡

"Do you think when we went to the diner, it counted as our first date?" I question out of curiosity.

"You mean when I was trying to convince you that you deserved better than Walker or your parents' disgusting and abusive ass?" He makes a valid point. "No, no I don't think that counts as our first date. Why?" His curiosity kicks in.

I shrug. "I guess I just realized that we never really had an official first date."

And then it hits me.

"Let's make this our first official date!" A gasp escapes my lips.

"You want to have our first official date the day before our eighth-wedding-anniversary?" he repeats just to be sure he's hearing right.

I clear my throat before holding out my hand. "Hi, I'm Alaiya Storm."

"You better fucking change that right now," he demands angrily as if that isn't the whole purpose of this.

"We're just meeting, I can't already have your last name," I argue back.

"I don't give a shit, your name is Alaiya Blackwood."

He's honestly such a child.

My eyes roll at him. "Fine." I force a smile, sticking out my hand again. "Hi, I'm Alaiya Blackwood."

He looks at my hand, nodding for me to continue as I give him a look that says "are you going to shake it?".

"Are you not going to introduce yourself?" I give him an "unbelievable" look.

"Who goes on a date with someone they don't already know the name of?" Oh great, here comes sensible Roman. I swear, he can't use his imagination for a second. I just know he was a hoot to play house with.

"A lot of people do."

"Sounds like they have a fucking death wish," he shrugs.

I rest my head against the table in annoyance.

"Fine, let's skip the introductions." I lift my head back up, forcing a smile again. "Lightening round. I'm going to ask you questions and you're going to answer them as fast as you can," I instruct, earning a nod from him as he sits back completely relaxed.

I try and think of good questions to ask on the spot.

"Favorite food?"

"You," he answers with no hesitation.

If I had water, I would've spat it out.

My eyes immediately widen at him because that was not what I was expecting, especially on the spot like that. He had to have been waiting our entire marriage for that question to pop up because nobody just has that ready to go in their mind.

I try and gather myself after looking around, hoping and praying that no one heard him.

"Favorite snack?" I try and change the subject to get rid of my burning face.

"Still you."

I glare at him. "Okay, the word "you" has been taken out of your vocabulary."

He smirks at me in humor.

"Favorite thing to do in your free time?"

"My wife."

I hate him.
