I ran towards eomma as appa and her walked ahead of me. They playfully stopped and waited for me to reach both of their hands. Both smiling as I made a small pout at them. They said that we needed to leave Busan because they have work here. We need to stay here for a while.
They said this is Jeju-do Island!
Eomma said we can taste delicious tangerines here so I'm excited! ☺️ I haven't tasted a tangerine before but I think apple and persimmon taste really yummy! Fruits are yummy and I thank eomma and appa for always bringing me nam-nams. Food that I haven't tasted back in the orphanage.
"Ommo... I'm sure you're excited to see the tangerine trees aren't you??"
"Yes eomma! I want to see... 😗 "
Appa caressed my head;
"You will honey. Just remember, do not just take any of those fruits. Ask permission first. Eomma and appa are here to work so we can buy you more food and hopefully we can send you to a school. So be patient and be good okay??"
"Okay! ☺️ I promise!"
"Oh, look honey!"
I looked at where my appa pointed and saw lots of tangerine trees. I got so excited that I jumped in joy. The trees are so beautiful and the fruits look...cute and delicious! 😍"
"Charlie, what is the color of that fruit?"

Eomma asked me.
"Shy orange!"
They both laughed at what I said which I said with confidence. I know a few colors. Mostly the basic ones... eomma and appa are teaching me the difficult ones like;
"Honey, this one's a shade of orange...but since it's lighter, like the fruit itself, it's called 'tangerine'."
I usually refer a lighter shade as a shy one, and a darker shade as an angry one.🤔
