Jade Kim? Who is she?

I looked at my husband as I gently rub my bump. The sophisticated lady rose from her seat and properly curtsied in front of us. My husband had a simple smile on his face...

Or more like a forced one?

Is she a friend of his majesty?

"Hello majesties. Jade Kim at your service, your new stylist."

My husband simply nodded and looked at me;

"I know Jade. We went to the same university in Germany."

She smiled at me and nodded;

"We're actually friends."

She seconded.

Friends?

I don't  feel good about this woman. I've been through a lot and I don't want another headache in this family. Also, the way she smiles at my husband tells a story. I don't want to lash but I need let her know that she can't do anything foolish while I'm carrying a child. I didn't smile back at her; instead openly- suspiciously eyed her.

"Friend? Are you a royal?"

I frankly asked which surprised the two.

She was a bit taken aback at my question and even chuckled probably felt really uncomfortable with my straightforwardness.

"Uhm, I'm not, your highness... just born privileged I guess?"

I crossed my arms;

"Well, I know my husband's friends because we're in a single circle. I am friends with them too. Were you informed of my preferences?"

She was stunned at first but then quickly replied when my face turned completely sour.

"Sweetheart,"

My husband tried to hold my arm but I refused to be held.

"O-ofcourse, your highness... I am aware."

Of course?

"Shouldn't be a simple yes is a more appropriate answer? 'Of course' sounded a bit insulting like I don't know what I'm asking about."

At that part, my husband gently maneuvered me away from the said stylist.

"I'm sorry, princess isn't in a very nice mood today. We'll discuss this next time, Jade."

"MISS KIM!"

I hissed at his majesty as he boldly called her by name.

He quickly led me outside the receiving parlour and I was so pissed that I tried walking ahead of him. I felt him gently grab my arm and what annoyed me even more was when he smiled as though he was enjoying my tantrum.
