Weeks and weeks spent away from home...

Home is supposedly where we feel safe but being here, gave us the opportunity to heal our wounds. Tend to our inner child.

Think about things.

It gave us hope.

My wife and I may not have lost the spark and our relationship was in limbo. It was a slightly dark place...

But gradually the light gets in.

We're surrounded with friends.

We've witness a lot of changes...

I feel contentment on where we stood at this moment. Charlie and I are rebuilding a friendship and a lifetime.

Where trust and love will last till the end of our time together.

We're trying...we really do.

I moved my head a little to see Charlie smiling at me. She ruffled the now full-grown furbaby and gave him a gentle pat on his head. Tannie, went to his mom and wagged his tail.

I smiled at the scene.

"Well, why wouldn't they? The Russian royals are known to be animal lovers. Talking about Avalanche who used to own seven wolves... well I'm glad that he decided to set them free in a secluded forest where they can still be detected. Living in their natural habitat."

Yeontan rushed back to me as Charlie settled herself on the single couch near the bed.
