I woke up and felt the slightly warm breeze coming from the open windows of the traditional room that Charlie and I share. I glanced on my side and found her facing another direction and a little distant from my outstretched arm. The soft whistle like sound informed me that she's still asleep. I lingered on my wife's slender back and thought about what happened back in the main palace.
Seoul is still infested with that gallery scandal and Mari...
I shook my head.
I never told anyone from the palace that I am currently communicating with her for that reason. Charlie is unaware that we've been talking since that incident happened.
I was so aggravated that I contacted her and the confrontation didn't stop there. We started talking again but I firmly reminded her the ground she stands on. This is obviously a way for me to manipulate and prevent her from doing something foolish in the future.
I sighed.
I checked the time...
2:47 pm.
Past lunch time.
I rose and gave Charlie a glance. Still dreaming when she didn't even want to sleep earlier. I slid the door open just to find servants waiting. Yoongi appeared as well and bowed to me.
"Your highness, itinerary for today-"
"WAIT. I still have things to do?!"
My adviser linked his hands together and I totally anticipated his sarcasm to hit me without remorse.
"WHY YES, YOUR HIGHNESS. OBVIOUSLY, EVIDENTLY."I huffed and annoyingly ruffled my hair.
After his response his face was back to its unfathomable state and continued with the itinerary for today.
"The citizens of this island would like you to inspect and admire the ricefields and farms as they would also like to invite you for a small gathering. It's been years since the last time members of the royal family visited the island... your last visit here was merely a decade ago. Also...they would like to meet the princess. You have an hour to prepare."
I crossed my arms;
"The 'princess' is still asleep."
