•Charlie•The prince and I did nothing but ignore each other. It seems that he's quite comfortable not minding me at all and because of that I longed to go back home. Not in Seoul but in Vienna. Days passed by and we were told that we needed to stay here longer.
I heaved a deep sigh that despite being in an open area, the silence began to annoy me. From the pavilion, I see nothing but nature and the prince, on the other corner of the huge pavilion, seated on a cushion over the polished floor. Evidently busy with his smart phone. I continued fanning myself and annoyingly adjusted this hanbok that I was told to wear. It's a short hanbok style dress yet I don't feel comfortable in it. It's Autumn yet this island felt like it's still summer. Without giving much attention to the brute across me, I untied my dress and removed it. Distant servants watched me and one of them quickly came to my aid;
"Your highness, y-you cannot-"
In a cranky way, I tossed the dress on the side and felt relieved as the thick dress was off me. I was wearing a thin silk under dress chemise in cream and turned my back on the annoying prince. I continued fanning while the servant didn't know how to reprimand me simply because I was openly wearing something inappropriate. The servants were told by adviser Min to scram and I politely asked for another pitcher of lemonade and some cookies.
I flinched as he laughed out loud. As I glanced back at him, he was laughing at something on his phone. Licking his lips like he's really delighted about something. I rolled my eyes yet I flinched once again as he cast me a glance. He was obviously taken aback.
For a short moment we were just looking at each other...
*cricket sounds*
He slowly set his phone down on the side and crossed his arms.
"Where the eff is your dress? I just looked away for a second and now you're into that seductive look. Are you purposely aggravating me?"
