Safe Haven | Newt Death Cure Fanfiction [COMPLETED]

Chapter 11

After about 15 minutes, the vehicles came to a stop  and they were let out. They looked around to see that they were in some dilapidated building complex surrounded by a bunch of armed men. But these weren't WICKED from what they could gather.

"Who the hell are you people!" Thomas shouted at their kidnappers.
"Everybody relax. We're all on the same side here." The tallest of them said.
"What do you mean same side? Who the hell are you?" Thomas asked again.
"Hey, Greenie." He slowly removed his gas mask and revealed his face. Gally.
"Gally?" Newt said in disbelief.
"No way..." Thomas, Newt, and Fry was at a loss for words. They couldn't believe it. Thomas quickly lunged at Gally and started punching and attacking him.
"Don't shoot!" Gally ordered the others who were there as they pointed their guns at Thomas.
"Woah-woah!! Thomas wait!" Newt tried to pull him off from Gally.
"He killed Chuck." Thomas said in a shaky breath. Flashes of what happened came back to him. Gally shooting Chuck. Thomas throwing a spear straight at Gally's heart. Chuck dying in his arms.
"Yeah, I know. I remember. I was there too, all right? But I also remember that he was stung and half out of his mind. Just calm down. All right?" Newt tried to calm him down.
"Come on." Newt finally convinced Thomas to retract his fist and stand up.
"Kind of had that coming. Anybody else? Fry? Newt?" Gally asked after standing up and brushing off his clothes.
"How? How is this possible? We watched you die." Newt stammers.
"No, you left me to die. And if we hadn't found you when we did, you'd be dead right now." Gally answered.
"What the hell are you doing here anyway? And where are the others" Gally asked. He scanned the others again as he looked for a particular person, his brows furrowing when he didn't find her.
"WICKED has her, Gally. And Minho too. We're looking for a way in." Newt said the first part almost too quietly.
"Fuck." Gally's fist balled up and anger, fear swelled in his eyes.
"I can help with that." He said after a minute of composing himself. With a newfound vigor. he started walking, expecting that the other's will follow suit.
"I'm not going anywhere with you." Thomas hissed still unable to bring himself to trust the boy who killed his friend.
"Suit yourself. I'll get them myself." Gally said toughly before continuing on. The others looked at each other before following him.
