Storming out of that room in a frenzy of frustration and anguish seemed like a good idea at the time. But thinking about it now, perhaps I should've stayed, I went and did the very thing she patronised me for. I ran away from the problem.

I thought of giving in, taking her back to midguard and leaving her there just like she wanted.

But if she was even seen once by someone she knew, the news would get to her cousin surely. I would be found out. But then that would be running away too.

This is confusing.

Loki sat on the marble seat in the palace gardens, still wondering what he could do.

Aria was leaning on her balcony rail, feeling guilty. Wait, she shouldn't feel guilty, he kidnapped her! Although technically she told him she wanted to.. maybe loki was just confused as to why she wanted to go back after telling him she wanted to leave Earth.

She sighed in frustration, realising she had been too hard on him. She didn't want to run, but maybe she was taking this for granted. She had been given a fresh start away from everything.

She sighed again, holding her head in her hands.

She couldn't just walk up to Loki and tell him she'd changed her mind.

Instead.. she decided to do exactly that.

"This palace, how are you meant to know where anything is??" Aria slightly panted, sitting next to Loki on the marble seat in the palace gardens.

"After a while you sort of memorise it" He spoke, squinting his eyes against the sunlight and turning to face her, adjusting his sitting position as he did so.

"Guess I have some homework to do then" she laughed weakly.
He didn't say anything but continued to look at her, waiting for her to get to her point.

Aria didn't notice it as much before, she was too focused on how angry she was due to the fact he wouldn't let her go, but Loki was quite handsome. Very handsome actually. there was something hiding behind his eyes she found interesting. His pale skin contrasted with his ebony hair. he was quite tall and had a perfect build.

Aria quickly shook her head, ridding herself of her distraction as she noticed Loki was still waiting.

He usually would've said something by now, probably a 'get on with it' or some other comment. But he didn't, instead he just waited patiently for her to find her words. As she did, he took in her features, her brown hair, her innocent-like eyes. He looked down and noticed her fiddling with her left hand.

But he saw her shake her head and looked at him again, more focused this time.

"I was wrong. Well at least a little bit wrong." She began as Loki furrowed his brows,
"I don't know the situation, and for me to accuse you of running away when I don't know the story was unfair.. I'm sorry" she tilted her head.

There was silence, and Aria almost got up to leave, maybe he didn't want to talk to her.

"I'm sorry too" he spoke, "I'm sorry for not letting you go, and my defences shouldn't have been so.. harsh"

Aria paused then nodded, smiling a little. Loki did the same, before they both turned back to gaze upon the asgardian city.

"It's about midday" Aria pointed out, noticing the position of the sundial a little way away.

"It is, why?" He asked,

"We could train some more if you like" she shrugged, sighing and scrunching her eyes a second after as she heard the awkwardness of her tone in her head.

He could tell she was mentally facepalming as she asked her question. he smirked a little to himself before replying,
"Of course, if you want me to win like always"

"Pshh in your dreams Loki" she stood up, turning on her heel and strolling out of the palace gardens,

He paused for a second, smirking as he internally chuckled. Wanting to escape one minute then changing her mind the next, this girl was going to be a handful...
