"What I could do with the power that runs through those veins.." Loki thought aloud, looking over at the sleeping Jane.
"It would consume you." Thor remarked.
"She's holding up alright.. for now."
"She's strong in ways you'd never even know."
"I suggest you say goodbye"
"Not this day."
"This day? The next? Even a hundred years it's nothing. It's a heartbeat. You'll never be ready, the only woman whose love you've prized will be snatched from you."
Loki leaned closer to Thor, Aria ( who was sat next to Jane with her eyes closed ) considered stepping in to prevent a confrontation.
"And will that satisfy you?" Thor asked calmly,
"Satisfaction is not in my nature."
"Surrender not in mine."
"the son of Odin." Loki mocked,
"No. Not just of Odin. You think you alone were loved of mother?" Aria's breath hitched a little, "You had her tricks but I had her trust."
"Trust. Was that her last expression? When you let her die?!"
"What help were you in your cell?"
"..who put me there?.. WHO PUT ME THERE" Loki yelled, Aria flinched a little but didn't intervene.
"YOU KNOW DAMN WELL! YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHO." Thor yelled back, raising a fist. But he stopped himself.
"She wouldn't want us to fight."
"Well she wouldn't exactly be surprised." Loki said.
"I wish I could trust you."
"Trust my rage." Loki spoke darkly.
Aria then opened her eyes and shifted a little, eventually standing up.
"Arianna you should get some-" Thor began, as Aria approached them.
"Trust me I don't need it. And please don't call me that." She waved him away, Thor nodded and walked over to Jane.
"I recognise you now." Aria spoke quietly, knowing Thor was out of earshot.
"Is that so?" Loki replied, leaning on the side of the ship and looking out over the wasteland.
"Yeah, New York. That was you. It was scary watching it all on Tv but sometimes I wonder what would've happened if you'd won.."
"What?" He looked over at her,
"You know. If you had won. I mean, what would you do? If you could rule the world?"
"..What would you do?"
"I asked you first"
"And I asked you second."
She paused a second before answering.
".. well I guess it's a hard question to answer when the planet itself is such a shithole"
"I don't understand you"
"Well if I could live anywhere it wouldn't be Earth I can tell you that for free."
He paused for a second and furrowed his brows.
But he looked back away and they both gazed out upon Svarvaltheim.
Thor returned soon and Aria walked back over to Jane, sitting down.
