"That your girl, Doc?"
Kiera said chuckling. Namjoon hid his phone behind his back. He was scrolling through the photos he once took of Jisoo. Jisoo looked angellic in them. He was way too mesmerised in Jisoo's beauty to check if Kiera was awake or not. Namjoon gulped,
"Hey, you are up Queen."
"Cut the crap Doc! Tell me have you had sex with her yet?"
"Jesus woman! We are just friends."
Kiera got to her feet and messed up her hair a bit. She moved her fingers on her neck and collarbones. The wounds Tzuyu and the others gave her isn't going away soon. She muttered to herself,
"Those bastards!"
"No swearing Kiera."
Namjoon said as he wore his lab coat and was ready to leave. Kiera rolled her eyes,
"Just go deal with your friend! I'm pretty sure you have a thing for her."
Namjoon stopped at his tracks,
"Well, you are right Kiera. I had something for her. But she didn't have the same thing for me."
Namjoon could feel a lump at the back of her throat. Kiera's voice was cold and unbothered,
"Well, I can't relate. But there's someone who can."
"Who is it?"
"And why should I tell you?"
"Then why did you mention it at the first place?"
"Because I wanted to?"
Kiera chuckled as Namjoon clenched his jaws. She was getting on every one of his nerves. Kiera spoke again,
"She had a thing for my Ace. She proposed, Ace said no. She was pissed and destructive. But eventually she found a companion. And it was back to normal. No awkwardness at all!"
Kiera flopped back at her bed. Namjoon cocked his right eyebrow,
"So, to forget love, I have to fall in love first?"
"Yeah. Now tell me when can I go out of this room! I feel trapped!"
Kiera kicked the wall in frustration. She felt a small tingling pain in her nerves. She flinched. It was unlikely of her. What was happening to her?
Namjoon ran towards her,
"Easy there Queen. Jail is no fun. The purpose for jail is that you are trapped. But you can only get our help if you help us."
Namjoon tucked her in the bed. Kiera rolled her eyes,
"With what?"
"With information. You can be a great help Kiera."
The plan was working. It was going just the way it was supposed to. Soon, there would be a golden trophy of victory.
Kiera fiddled her fingers,
"Not in the mood Doc."
Namjoon knew it would not work. His efforts would go in vein. He massaged his temples and sighed. It was really annoying. Just as he flunged the door open. Kiera said, in a really low yet commanding voice,
"I'm going to help you with that heartbreak incident tho."
"How?"
"Don't annoy me Doc! Just listen. When Ace rejected her, she felt as if it was the end of the world for her. But eventually Joker Unnie found J. C. Oppa. Trust me, they were the bestest of all. They had similarities. They had the same mad mind. They shared interests. Unnie was happy. She even felt like if she had dated Ace, she would've missed out on J. C. Oppa. Love takes time, Doc. Maybe you are not destined with that pretty elegant one. That doesn't mean you would end up all alone. Sulky and gloomy. You would find someone."
Namjoon's eyes widened. Kiera's tone was soft. Still cold, but a bit softer. He looked at Kiera at a bolt. Kiera chuckled,
"I know, I know. I got no track or control over my mind. You know it just seems foggy inside when it comes to emotions. This has always helped me with crimes. I got a brain in things like that, not gonna lie. But my emotions are just not there. I'm just ice cold..."
Kiera broke into a feat of laughter, followed shortly by sobs. She sobbed till she felt her head get heavy. And Namjoon just sat beside her. He lended her his shoulder. She needed it. Sometimes, it's a friend is what we need in life, rather than a lover.
After a good amount of time, Kiera managed to put herself together. Namjoon just gave her a warm smile,
"You good now?"
Kiera smacked his biceps, as she sniffed her cherry red nose,
"I was always good."
Namjoon giggled a bit before passing a handkerchief towards her,
"Friends?"
Kiera pulled a face at him as her fingers pulled the handkerchief out of Namjoon's grasp,
"I'm only befriending you cause I need the handkerchief."
"Works for me, your Majesty."

"Taehyung Sunbaenim!"
Rosé's shrill voice pierced theough Taehyung's ears. Rosé's hand was wrapped around Jimin's. Taehyung smiled at the couple,
"Yes Chaeyoung."
"Call me Rosé, Sunbaenim. The Queen..."
"What about the Queen, Chaeyoung?"
Rosé paused a bit at Taehyung's question. She bit her full lips.
"It isn't that serious Sunbaenim. It's just that I'm concerned about Namjoon Sunbaenim. The Queen has been chatting with him and even laughing..."
Jimin poked in the intense conversation with a gasp,
"That's unlikely of a murderer."
"I know right!"
Rosé said as she smiled. She had made a point. She felt a bit proud of herself.
But Taehyung held a poker face. He didn't show his concern or content. He just gave a slight nod,
"Ok. I would see about that. Anything else Miss. Park?"
"No Sunbaenim. I would take my leave. Bye."
Rosé bowed towards Taehyung and gave Jimin a smile,
"I'm waiting in the car."
"I swear I won't be late Rosie."
Jimin smiled back at his girlfriend.
As soon as Rosé was out of sight. Jimin flung his arms at his buddies shoulder,
"So, got anything out of the Queen?"
"Nope. But I'm close."
"Hwaiting Alien!"
Taehyung laughed a bit, so did Jimin. Then after a small chitchat they parted ways as Jimin had somewhere to go with Rosé.
Taehyung tucked his hands inside his pockets and walked towards the Cafe. He is going to let Kiera losen up a bit with Namjoon. That would be easier for her if she had a friend here. With his signature smirk he ordered for a sandwich.
