"Unnie, look."
Kiera said as her fingertip drifted Jennie's and Rosé's eyes towards the silhouette of their lovers under the rain.
Jennie saw the tall leader. Drenched in rain, worn out to the last bit of soul in him.
Rosé saw the broken smile. Rosé saw how Jimin, even though he was breaking inside, decided lend a shoulder to his brother.
"We fell for the right men. Didn't we?"
Jennie chuckled. But Rosé? Rosé chewed on her bottom lips as her fingers fidgeted with each other. She was nothing to Jimin now. They were nothing. But then why does she still love him? And if he loves him so much, why did sge even get so irritated at such a small reason? No, she doesn't blame herself. But she doesn't blame him as well. She feels as if she's losing her mind.
Tzuyu huffed. She felt so out of place. The girls here just radiated an energy that they were really comfortable with each other. But she was sticking out like a sore thumb. She decided to give the girls, she hated but now wants to blend in with really bad, a moment to themselves.
Jennie crossed her arms when she saw Tzuyu getting up all of a sudden,
"And where do you think you are going little one?"
And suddenly, Tzuyu started seeing an Unnie in the mandu cheeked criminal. Tzuyu stuttered, as if coming up with an excuse as your mother burns a hole through you thanks to her gaze,
"Unnie, I-actually-um-yeah-need to get home. Yeah! I actually need to get home."
"But your shift isn't over till..."
Rosé looked at the wristwatch hanging on her bony wrist,
"Till maybe an hour more."
"Um... Yeah. But I gotta go home early."
"Go home safely dollface. The world around us isn't a great place."
Tzuyu turned around. Her mouth agape. Kiera stayed still. As if her telling Tzuyu, who apparently is the reason why she ended up in the hospital, to go home safely is the most normal thing to do. Tzuyu took a few seconds to process her words. But she smiled gratefully,
"Thanks, Queen."

"Chaeng! You are back! I cooked Kimchi fried rice..."
"Unnie do you think I went a bit too far with Jimin? By any chance, do you think, I shouldn't have broken up with him?"
"Chaeng..."
Jisoo cooed at her dongsaeng. She had always rooted for JiRosé. Not for the hype. But for what she saw. It was vivid that they were in love. It was rather shocking that they drifted apart on an issue like this. If it was something like doubting each other, being overly obsessed, Jisoo wouldn't even think twice before declaring it as a true statement. Rosé tried forcing a smile,
"I'm just going to freshen up. So give me some time Unnie. You know I can never miss out on your cooking right?"
"Chaeyoung, would you listen to me if I told you something?"
"Of course Unnie!"
"Try not to smile to hide your tears. Go with your heart. And fuck ego. Now go freshen up!"

"Kiera, you're awake."
Kiera's heart missed a beat. The same velvety deep voice. But she didn't act the least bit surprised,
"Yeah, Officer."
Taehyung slowly walked inside. Kiera looked even more bony than before. She was sitting on the windowsill. The fresh moonlight told him that there was someone else in the room. But did he care? Hell no!
Kiera hugged her knee close to her chest as her heterochromic eyes gobbled up the scenery. This was the last time she's going to see all this. There won't be a tomorrow where she is the neglected criminal. All her miseries are gonna end tonight.
Her eyes shifted down. She was high up, compared to where the green mossy ground was. She felt as if she was in the sky. She felt the moon was right next to her. She thought about slipping on purpose. But all these days, she couldn't make it. But today was her day. Tonight is going to be her last night here. Tonight can be the last time the moon would feel ever so close.
"Kiera, you are scaring me! You would fall off any..."
Kiera looked at Taehyung before she let her body fall. She closed her eyes as she felt the air starting to hit her ears. Everything stopped.

Rosé looked at herself. Her reflection didn't feel like herself lately. She had the same hair, the same eyes, same lips, same everything. It was just her heart and her soul. Should she throw her ego away and run till her feet wear off? That would feel nice, if at the end of the day she's again in his arms.

Park Jimin. Rosé frantically searched through her phone. She had deleted the contact. Good thing Jimin's number was at the tip of her tongue. Her long fingers messed up the numerals multiple times due to a feeling of nervousness shaking her inside. But at last the ringer was on. Rosé's heart was beating faster like a drum. What if Jimin didn't pick up? Wouldn't she crumble to pieces again? What if Jimin didn't hear her? Wouldn't she feel like crying herself to sleep again? What would she do?

"Roseanne."
She heard confidence in his voice.  He was sure it was the girl he keeps missing all day long.
"Jimin."
Rosé heard a squeaky laughter from the other side. She felt lighter. His laugh was working on her like a medicine. He spoke in between his laughter,
"I'm sure you called for something other than name calling. But first, Miss Park Chaeyoung, tell me, did you have your dinner? And by dinner I mean a proper dinner and not just a bag of chips or a cup of coffee."
Rosé bit her bottom lips. She heard Jimin sigh,
"I knew it. Go downstairs, Rosie and have some dinner first it's pretty late. Then make yourself a cup of coffee, go to the balcony and admire the moon that was hiding behind the cloud moments ago. Then, if you feel a bit relaxed, call me back. I'd be waiting."
"What if I don't feel relaxed and fuck the idea of calling you back? Or what if I feel too relaxed that I forget to call you back?"
"I'd still wait. I'd wait for you forever."
And that was the moment Rosé felt alive all over again. That was the moment she knew, Jimin and Rosé were not over. They were just going through a lot. That was the moment Rosé rediscovered how special it feels to hear somethibg else that screams LOVE to the listener other than I LOVE YOU.
