Tears simultaneously came out of  Taehyung's both eyes. While, Kiera just sat still as a drop of tear made it's way to her left eye.

Jeon Jungkook. Was her man. But guess what she's doing? She's hugging and kissing another man. She felt wrong and guilty. But Jungkook is dead. She has to let go of the past. She just has to. She can't mourn over a dead body forever. But her heart stills feels heavier. She feels empty and hollow. She feels weak.

Taehyung, on the other hand,  felt sorry and guilty and hatred and every melancholy emotion he can feel. He felt as if it was all his fault. Jungkook died because of him. He nuzzled his face on the crook of Kiera's neck.

"Don't cry. It's not your fault."
Kiera's voice was cold. Colder than usual. Almost robotic. She patted Taehyung's back. She stepped away from Taehyung. Taehyung was quite suprised, but he got it anyways. Kiera was thinking of Jungkook. Ace was Queen's first ever love. Her first priority. Taehyung is nothing in front of him. No one is. Atleast in Kiera's eyes. Taehyung's lips shivered,
"I'm sorry Kiera. But I don't want to repeat the same mistakes again. I don't want you to go the same way as Jungkook. I want you alive and sassy. So please, I beg of you, cooperate with us."
"What information did Jungkook slip?"
Taehyung sniffed as his eyes wandered to Kiera's His face was red and warm. Kiera wanted to kiss his cheeks but it would just make her more guilty. She needs a bit more time before she can kiss him again, even if it didn't mean anything.
"Well, just the team names, his blood type, age and skills."
Kiera stood there in front of Taehyung. For quite a long time. She stood there still. Her heterochromic eyes shining fron the tears in them. She bit her lower lip,
"I'm tired."
Taehyung knew it was going to be hard for her to talk. She is devasted, it's absolutely normal. She has every reason to be tired. Taehyung brushed his tears and stood up,
"Well, you can take the sofa if you want."
"What about you Officer?"
"Well, I would maybe work on something."
"I can just go to my cell..."
"Oh that's not necessary Queen. You aren't going to the cell. The cell is dirty, the people around it are dirty. I need to treat Ace's Queen like a Queen. Right? You would be staying in the hospital wing till I can keep you there. But when it slips away from me, I don't know what I'm going to do. People here hate you guys. They just think you guys are monsters..."
"You think the same as well. Don't you officer? You are just playing it nice. Aren't you officer?"
Kiera was motionless. Her eyes were frozen and dead. She looked Taehyung in the eye. But something was missing. Taehyung felt her eyes were becoming lifeless every second. Taehyung cupped her face in his long palms. He pressed his forehead on hers,
"Yes Kiera, that's what I used to think. It's a rather prejudiced thought. I'm trying to change my perspective now. I don't see you as a monster now. I see you as a woman who deserves the light. I swear I'm changing. I see you not as a seductress nor as a murderer. I see you as a woman who loves the dark. Trust me Kiera, I'm trying to change myself. After what happened to Ace because of me. I know I'm the real monster here. Please give me a chance to change myself."
And it was silence. There was not a single noise except their increased breathing. Kiera felt guilty yet she was comfortable. He was becoming her guilty pleasure.
"I thought Officers were tough."
She said as she settled down on the sofa. He chuckled melanvholicly,
"Officers are humans too. They are just as much humane as you guys are."
"If you consider me a human. You are wrong."
"Why? I see a young lady in front of me. Rough, tough and confident. You are a human."
"Well, would a human kill their own mother?"
Kiera said as tears trailed down her beautiful eyes. Taehyung stopped working on his file. This was a vital point. Kiera didn't move a muscle. She stared the ceiling down. She felt overloaded with tears. She wanted to empty all the tears she got.
"I didn't know who my mother was till I was 14. I was raised in the streets, then the mansion. Then the players formed. And one fine night, I crossed paths with a woman. She had some similar features like me. Not all. She didn't have the eye, she had a really small and round face. It wasn't well proportionate. She had really big breasts and hips. She was only in a lingerie. Kim Su-Bong held me by my neck and was almost choking me,
'Look at her! She is that one slut who gave birth to you! You are just as worthless as she is! You are just like your mother!'
'No! I'm not! I have no mother! I was born to nobody!'
'You aren't that dumb to know that some people fucked up and left you on the streets. She is that woman who fucked up!'
Kim Su-Bong's voice was cold, cruel and shrill. I had tears in my eyes. I never wanted to meet my parents. It was all just a punishment because I messed up.
'Well, she seems she would make her eomma proud.'
Her voice was annoying. I had tears in my eyes. My mind was blank. Kim Su-Bong whispered in my ear,
'This is what happens to fragile little women. Men just use them and control them. They are dimwits. Wanna be like this Kiera?'
'No!'
'Then never ever disobey me.'
'Yes Madame.'
Now get moving you pathetic airhead!'
She threw me on the ground and my so called mother chuckled,
'Aish! Bye honey! Make mommy proud and grow some curves!'
Kim Su-bong just chuckled at how loser of a woman is my mother. She knew where to hit from then on."
