"Jennie?"
Namjoon's voice made her smile. But she quickly masked it with her RBF. She turned towards him,
"That's my name."
"Jennie, don't you have anything against me? I mean... After so many years..."
Namjoon said as he sat in front of her, on his knees. His long fingers holding hers. Jennie looked him in the eyes. Those dragon eyes.
"I'd be lying if I said I don't. But again, it wasn't your fault to begin with. You were just as helpless as I was. The thing you could have done was that you could've easily found sone help for us. I'm sure someone would help. The world isn't that cruel yet. But since you guys didn't, we ended up as the most feared group of people."
Jennie said in a monotonous voice. Her face unbothered. She was sitting as elegantly as possible. Namjoon put up a smile, although he was breaking down inside. Jennie looked out of the window and bluntly said,
"You don't need to hide your emotions, Oppa. If you feel like it's hurting, don't mask it with a smile."

Jennie Kim. The young girl Namjoon met, when he was abducted. Jennie Kim. The girl who comforted Namjoon after he was doomed to stay in that mansion forever.

"Is that a Adonis annua, you have in your hands boy?"
Namjoon looked at her. Tall and bony and white skinned. Wearing a very sharp cat-eyed glass, a very fashionable scarf on her head. She gracefully held a bouquet of various flowers. She was wearing a dress and her waist had been synched down a lot by a corset.
Namjoon shook his head,
"I don't know madam."
"What's your name?"
"Kim Namjoon."
"What a lovely name!"
She smiled and pinched Namjoon's cheeks. He blushed a bit. Her plan was working. She again asked, sugar coating every word,
"Tell me Namjoon, do you like the nature?"
"Yes. A lot!"
"Then it's quite possible you'd like these flowers as well. Here, smell them, they smell like heaven."
She handed a hyacinth. Namjoon loved the nature. But as soon as he inhaled a sniff, his head started getting heavy. His eyes started drooping as his ears rang. He saw nothing but utter darkness. He sank right in a blackhole of weary...

"NAMJOON OPPA! YOU GOTTA RESIST! THE PAST IS IN THE PAST! YOU CAN'T GIVE IN TO A PILE OF MEMORIES! OPEN YOUR EYES NAMJOON OPPA!"
Jennie shook the well-built man in front of her. He had his eyes forcibly shut. His nose scrunched up in pain. He was almost crying.

Namjoon gasped loudly as he shot his eyes open. He had ran out of breath. His eyes teary and his face red. He whispered,
"Ki-kim Su-Bong..."
Jennie quickly hugged him and shushed him,
"It's okay. I killed her already. She is no more."
"BUT SHE'S ALREADY DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE! DO YOU THINK WE'D EVER GROW OUT OF THE TRAUMA SHE CAUSED! NO WAY! ROSEANNE'S ANOREXIC, JIN HAS PANIC ATTACKS, I'M INSOMNIAC..."
"I know we can't change the past. Also the trauma's unbearable. But we can talk it out. Talk to me. Tell me everything."
Namjoon hugged her tight. Jennie felt wet patches on her hospital uniform. Tears. The strongest weapon. Jennie shushed him and rubbed his back. Namjoon sniffed,
"Kim Jennie, please promise me you would always be by me. I swear, I would never ever leave you. No matter what, my Ruby Jane."
Jennie kissed the top of his head. She somehow was now on his lap. She felt...  Happy!
"Never Joonie Oppa. Never. I swear. I would always be there for you."

"Joonie Oppa, please don't cry!"
Jennie, who was merely 11, rubbed of Namjoon's tears. She was all beaten up herself as well, but Namjoon had never cried before.
"They are bringing more kids. It started from us. Then Kookie and Soo. And now more? Please they can't do that!"
"They can do whatever they want, Oppa. They have the money. But we have to make sure that we seek for the light. It's okay to be in the dark till you run for the light."
Namjoon rubbed his dragon eyes dry. He looked at the small figure in front of him. He ruffled up Jennie's hair,
"You're growing up, my Ruby Jane."

"You've grown up, Ruby Jane."
Namjoon muttered before letting go. Jennie regained her posture,
"So have you, Joonie Oppa. You are a docter now."
Namjoon flashed his dimples coyly,
"Thanks. Now let me do a check up on you. Then I have to go."
Jennie was quite disappointed. She wanted Namjoon to stay. But again, it was illogical. She just pecked Namjoon's cheeks and whispered,
"But still you are that small Joonie Oppa to me, the little Einstein. And you are always gonna be that to me."

"Again? Don't you have a job ypu bitch?"
Kiera rolled her eyes and stood up on her feet. Her ribs were burning. Her wounds felt wet. Blood spots on her hospital uniform. She rubbed the outer corner of her lips. Blood. Her ankles felt as if they would snap off.
Tzuyu gritted her teeth,
"Chaerin Sunbaenim handed your case to me. So from now on you can't fuck your way out of the cells!"
"Pfft! You are one funny bitch! Since you are handling the case, everything's on you? Think again!"
Kiera laughed. Blood chilling laighter. She was breaking inside. But she had to get the upper hand on Tzuyu's mind. Tzuyu was feeling insulted. She yelled,
"What the fuck does Taehyung Sunbaenim see in you? You are just a slut!"
"So Taehyung does love me? He confessed? Amazing!"
Tzuyu's gaze pierced through Kiera. She sprinted right on the injured girl. Kiera chuckled as she dodged Tzuyu amd threw her on the wall. Her wounds were killing her. But can she turn down a fight? No!
"YOU HOE! TAEHYUNG IS MINE!"
Tzuyu said as she threw a tweezer at Kiera.
"Look out!"
Namjoon said as he wrapped Kiera in his arms. The tweezer ripped his white shirt and pierced through his bicep. Jin rushed in and held Tzuyu, who was trying to beat Kiera up,
"HAVE YOU GONE CRAZY? SHUT IT! JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE POWER DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN MISUSE IT! CHAEYOUNG! TAKE HER AWAY!"
Rosé almost dragged Tzuyu out of the room. If only Park Chaeyoung knew, this was what it felt like an adult, she would've never grown up. Good grace!
