He was different. He was softer. He was almost like Ace. But a bit more sophisticated. Taehyung and Jungkook had similarities but differences as well. Kiera didn't know where they were different or how they were. She just felt that they are different.
Taehyung was walking hand in hand with Kiera. Waving and smiling to anyone passing by. Every single jaw that ever worked on this building were on the floor. Kiera saw women eyeing her down. Jealousy burning in their eyes. She was used to this. After all, she dated Jeon Jungkook before.
"Night, Sana."
He said with a proud smirk on his well sculpted face. This was what he wanted to do. Show off. Sana's face had gone pale,
"Sunbaenim, she is uncuffed!"
"No, No Miss. Sana Minatozaki."
Taehyung paused and showed her his long fingers entangled with Kiera's,
"See. She's been cuffed. Now, I'd head to my office and I want no disturbance. Not even from the seniors. Ok? I got something special to work on. Can you assure me that Sana? It's my order."
"Yes Sunbaenim."
Sana bowed at Taehyung and almost sprinted away from them. Kiera chuckled,
"She's cute."
"I know..."
"You like her Hot Stuff?"
Kiera said confidently. But she wanted to hear a no from Taehyung. Her heart was beating fast. Taehyung shook his head and rose his shoulder,
"She's way too sweet for my preference. I like girls who are like coffee. Bitter yet a tad bit sweet. Definitely hot. Sometimes cold. Would be my energy booster. Also would keep me up all night."
"You like someone bittersweet?"
"Yeah. Too sweet is boring. Too bitter is boring. But I want the best of both worlds."
Taehyung paused. He turned the door knob to his officeroom. Kiera peeped inside. The room was warm and messy. There were papers lying on the desk. Taehyung locked the door as soon as they stepped in. With the use of his long fingers he lifted Kiera's chin up to match her eyes with his,
"I like girls like you."
A tear smoothly glided out of Kiera's beautiful eyes. It brought back so many memories. Her lips slowly moved,
"That's something Ace would say."
She whispered. Rather breathily. Taehyung's face went surprised to his smirk in a second. He smiled at her,
"Tell me about Ace, doll. I would love to hear about the man who tamed you."
"Not here. I want to sit somewhere and then tell you about Ace. If I stand like this and continue, my knees would snap into two."
Kiera said as she shoved some files away from Taehyung's table. She sat on the desk while Taehyung sat facing her, on his office chair. Kiera cleared her throat,
"I was born to nobody. I was raised on the streets by nobody. I ate food off the dirtiest substances. The rich spoilt brats just threw and laughed at me. The priviliged never helped. I was a pick pocket. There's where I met Jeon Jungkook. He was older than me and looked out for me. I mean, it's natural. I was 5 he was 7. End of discussion. One day, he brought me to the house he lived in. It was owned by a rich heiress. Kim Su-Bong. The lady was bony and looked rich. But she was not the kindest. She rammed up 12 children in a single room. She told us to just survive. So now I had a home. We still used to steal and pick pocket even though we had foods and clothes. Not all of us. It was just 7 of us. I'm not good with names. I just know it was the players and another boy. He was a 95 liner. Anyways, when I was 10, the woman just appeared one day and started making groups. She went away with two Unnies and four Oppas. She also took away that 95 liner. Jungkook cried that day. We all did. But Kim Su-Bong just decided to starve and beat us. That's when the team leader Jungkook rose,
'What do you want Madame?'
She smirked and traced Jungkook's face with her long nails,
'I want you guys to commit crimes against the rich and spoilt. You guys are the players we need in this game.'
That's when we started this game. Jungkook has always looked out for me. Even though, I am the Maknae. Still he trained me like the Queen. He was always there for me, as long as I can remember. He used to be harsh with me when I made mistakes but within a second he would peck my cheeks and rub my tears away, whilst he muttered,
'Sorry kitten.'
He calmed me down when I commited my first murder. He gave me his shoulders when I felt like crying. My mind would always be fuzzy. I couldn't think much. I would just go and fuck the opponents up. I am a maniac. Jungkook held me tighter, so that I don't get to unleash the monster inside me. He used to make me feel so loved that I felt the whole world was at my feet."
Kiera stopped. Her eyes were filled with tears. Her lips were trembling. She was shaking. It was rather odd of her to show her emotions to someone other than Jungkook.
Taehyung took Kiera's hand into his and brought her closer to him. She shuffled in his lap and dug her face in the crook of his neck. She was sniffing. His cologne made her calm and feel secure.
"Shh... It's fine. Jungkook loved you like crazy. And it's okay to feel empty after being forced to let go of your love. Jungkook also felt his heartbreaking into thousand pieces when he got to know that he would never be able to hold you in his arms again in this life. I had seen a tear in his eyes..."
"Tell me! Tell me about Jungkook! I want to know about his last days, Officer!"
