Chapter 25

I opened our room door and walked into the hallway. There was no one to be seen, and it was silent. I walked to Ashton’s room and put my ear to the door, thinking maybe they were in here. When I didn’t hear anything, I knocked. I waited for a few minutes and when there was no answer, I knocked again, significantly louder. Another few minutes went by, and there was still no answer, let alone any sign or sound of life within the room. I took the room key for his room out of my purse and slid it into the slot. I opened the door once the clicking sound signaled that it was unlocked. I peeked my head in and saw that no one was here, even though the television was on. I decided to just stay and wait since I was going out with Ashton anyway. I plopped myself on the bed, grabbing the remote and flipping through the channels to find one I might be interested in. I didn’t find anything I liked, so I kept it on the channel it was previously on, taking my phone out and scrolling through Instagram. All of a sudden, the bathroom door opened and out strutted Ashton- in only a towel.

“Babe, what are you doing here? I thought you were finishing up your packing.” He said, turning to me with a surprised but happy look on his face.

I nodded my head trying to find words and trying to keep my eyes on his face- both tasks extremely difficult.

“Uh, yeah. But I finished quicker than I thought so I figured I’d come here and wait for you so we could get food. I knocked and all, I didn’t barge in. But I had no idea you were in here.” I rambled, keeping my eyes locked on his so they didn’t travel.

“Babe, it’s okay. You’re welcome here whenever, you know that. You knocked? I didn’t hear a damn thing.” He laughed. “I wish I knew you were here, I would have let you wash my hair.” He tried to say somewhat seductively.

“Ashton-”

“We could’ve showered together. I could’ve washed your hair too-”

“Ashton, please stop-”

“And I could’ve washed your body-”

“ASHTON!” I yelled so he would stop what he was saying. I saw his growing bulge through the towel and this just couldn’t happen right now. Not now.

“What baby? You wouldn’t like my hands touching you all over your-”

“Jesus fucking Christ Ashton! Yes I would, but not now! I can’t do this right now, please!” I had to yell a bit so he would get the idea I couldn’t do this.

“I know you can’t, because you’re not ready, and I don’t want to push you but-”

“Ashton, it isn’t that I don’t want to. It’s that I can’t.” I tried to explain.

He looked at me for a second, seeming to try and figure out what I was talking about. Suddenly, there seemed to be a lightbulb over the top of his head.

“OH! I see! Wow, that took me a while. Um, well if you didn’t have that, you would want to?” He asked, seeming generally interested.
