Chapter 5

We walked in through the doors and that’s when the screams began echoing through the building. That’s when I started getting nervous, and I knew Ashton noticed. I could tell he wanted to hold my hand or put his arm around me to protect me and calm me down, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t do that because my brother was here too. I just looked at him with sad eyes and walked up to Mike who immediately knew what was wrong with me and placed his arm around my shoulders.

“Don’t worry, sis. They love you. They’ve been tweeting me ever since the news broke out. They’re excited for you to come on tour.”

I looked at him and raised my eyebrows. “Oh please. You’re just saying that to make me feel better.”

“Would I ever lie to you?” He questioned.

“Yes” I answered immediately. Mike scoffed and didn’t answer me, he just kept walking. The screams were getting louder and louder, which meant we were getting closer.

“Okay boys, here’s how this is gonna go. You’ve got five minutes to sign autographs. We don’t have any more than five minutes, as we are pressed for time to get to the plane. Sign as many as you can, but keep walking as you do. You’ve all got your sharpies?” Their bodyguard Dave said. They all held up their sharpies.

“Okay good. Now Ally, I’ll give you one sharpie also, just incase some fans want you to sign things. It is possible because all the One Direction siblings get asked to sign fan’s things. You're just as famous as these weirdo’s.” He smiled and nodded towards the boys, who clearly didn’t hear him as they were talking amongst themselves. I nodded my head and took the sharpie from his hand. Soon we were walking towards the screaming fans, but I stayed behind by myself because I was a bit frightened. Yeah I’ve been out with Mike before and there were fans, but never to this extent. Whenever we went out shopping or just walking around town there was maybe 10 or so girls that wanted pictures or something signed. I let him do his thing and stepped aside. They were calm and were even nice to me, giving me hugs and wanting pictures with me as well. But what I’m about to encounter is something I’ve never experienced before. An eruption of screams blared as the boys walked out to where they were visible. The girls were pushing each other just to get a glimpse of them, or to touch them somehow. Flashes from cameras and phones started going off, blinding me. The boys started signing things, and smiling for pictures. They kept themselves moving, trying to sign as many things as they could, even though their bodyguards were moving them along to hurry the process so we weren’t late to the plane. I trailed behind, trying to cover my face with my hair so no one would notice me. Lets just say I’m not good with crowds of people. I’m quite claustrophobic, and I didn’t need to pass out or have a panic attack in front of all these people. I kept walking, trying to keep up with them but not falling too far back to where I lost them. I kept my head turned and my eyes to the floor, glancing up at the boys once every few seconds to make sure I was still in sync with them.

“Ally! Ally! Please sign my phone case for me!” Some girl shouted at me. I looked up, scared. I didn’t want anyone to know I was here, but I guess nothing ever goes the way you want it to. Once she yelled at me, everyone else's eyes turned towards me. I don’t like being the center of attention, and this is what I didn’t want to happen. Soon other girls were shouting at me to sign some of their stuff. I took a deep breath in and walked over to them trying to keep a nice smile on my face. I opened my sharpie and began signing my name. It was really weird to be honest. I was used to my brother signing things, but not really myself. I looked at Mikey and he, as well as the other boys just smiled at me. I smiled back and kept signing things, walking as well. I was very lucky in the fact that none of the fans were rude or mean to me in any way. I can honestly say I’ve never run into a rude fan yet, which I’m very thankful for. Once we went through as many people as we could, the bodyguards signaled us to walk to security so we could get things going. We bid farewell to the fans waving and smiling at them as we walked away. I felt a hand go around my neck and I was pulling into someones side.
