Chapter 7

“Okay, so who’s rooming with who? We have three rooms, so two in each room. There are two queen beds in each, along with a bathroom and a television like any other hotel.” Dave explained.

Sarah and I immediately buddied up, leaving the boys to choose to go with whoever they wanted. Once Dave saw that Sarah and I were together, he handed us two keys to our room and pointed to which door it was. We walked over, unlocked it, and walked inside. We were both so shocked at how big it was. It was bigger than both my room and Sarah’s- combined. I couldn’t even explain how beautiful it was. We both claimed our beds and started putting some stuff away. They told us not to unpack too many clothes or anything else because we need to go somewhere else in a couple of days. So we just unpacked a couple of outfits we were planning to wear at some point during our stay, and some shoes. While we were unpacking, there was a knock at our door. I ran to open it, and it was Mike and Calum. I opened the door so they could both walk in, and closed it behind me.

“How are you girls settling in?” Mike asked us.

“Good, it’s such an amazing room. Thank you for being so nice.” Sarah said, blushing slightly. Mike just nodded and smiled at her.

Sarah has had a huge crush on my brother for so long now. She always asks me stuff about him and if I’ve talked to him about her yet. She wanted me to set her up, but I felt like it was too awkward for me to do it. I always told her, if she wanted to go on a date with him, she needed to talk to him about it on her own. Sometimes I was nice and would say something about her or throw in how good of a person she was, but Mike wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box, so I don’t think he really saw the small hints I was giving.

“So, what did you guys want?” I asked trying to keep everything going.

“Oh, we just wanted to see how everything was going. Plus I wanted to talk to you, Ally.” Calum replied. I looked at him confused, but shrugged my shoulders, stood up and walked to the door. I turned to Sarah before I left and gave her a thumbs up and mouthed a ‘get him, tiger’, to which she smiled. We both walked through and went into the hallway, sitting on the floor.

“So what’s up?” I wondered.

“Well I know I was rude to you at your house yesterday, and I just wanted to apologize. There was no reason for me to be rude since you didn’t even do anything. I was just fighting with Transita because I wanted her to come on tour with us like you and Sarah, but she said she couldn’t because of school.”

“Oh I see. It’s not a problem. I figured something was wrong because you’re never like that. You’re like one of the happiest guys I know. But why couldn’t she just bring school with her?” I questioned.

“She said because she needed to go to the school since finals are about to start to end the semester.”

“But can’t she just come after she takes her finals?”

He huffed, “that’s what I said, but she seemed to have an excuse for everything. I figured she just didn’t want to come, but she kept saying no, and I kept saying she was lying. So we ended up arguing for an hour, and she was acting like she didn’t want to be with me anymore. So I don’t know if we’re together now or not. It’s just a really messed up situation.” He explained, quickly. I gave him a small hug and tried to think of what to do.

“I can talk to her if you’d like. You know how us girls are, maybe she was just having a bad day or something. You never know, so don’t think it’s because she didn’t want to come, she might’ve just been having a rough time at school or home. Finals stress everyone out, so don’t beat yourself up about it. I’ll talk to her when you all go to bed. Sarah and I can fix it.”

“You’d really do that for me?” He asked, seeming utterly surprised.

I nodded. “Of course I would. You do so much for my family and I, especially Michael.”

“I’d really appreciate that, Ally. You have no idea how much that means to me.” He smiled. I smiled back and we stood up. I was about to go back into the room when he stopped me by grabbing my arm.

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you out too. Mike is staying with me so when Ashton and you want to go out or something, I’ll keep him busy.”

Oh my god, did Ashton tell all of them?

“Well thanks, Cal. But how did you know?” I asked.

“Well lets see, Luke told me. But even if he didn’t, it was pretty obvious.” He explained.

“And how’s that?” I raised an eyebrow at him.

“Okay, here we go. When you visited us last tour, you were both always together, and I saw you both cuddled up in the bunks almost every night. If that wasn’t a ‘we’re together’ sign, I don’t know what is.” He said. I shook my head and tried not to smile.

“But if you noticed, how come Mike didn’t?” I wondered.

“Ally, you should know your brother. Does he ever notice anything?” I thought about it and shook my head.

“No, all that hair dye has really fucked up his brain.” I laughed, and so did Calum.

I took my key and put it into the lock, which opened the door. We both walked in and saw Sarah and Mikey slightly making out. Only slightly. Us walking in didn’t even make them stop. They didn’t even budge.

I guess she went for it.
