Date: June 4th, day of supposed death. 10:00 am.

Ashlyn POV

I sat up and sighed, eyes fluttering and adjusting to the sunlight streaming into my room from outside my window. I turned my head, stretching my body a little before grabbing my phone of the nightstand and clicking on the home screen. The phone lit up to reveal a picture of me and The Boyz and I bit my lip, smiling when I saw me, Sunwoo, and Kevin together, happily smiling and hugging. My eyes drifted up to the date written on the top of the screen and the smile from my face dropped.

June 4th.

The day Sunwoo died.

The day Kevin killed him by accidently setting his house on fire.

The day my angel left the world and ashes filled the air.

The day everything in my life came crashing down.

I switched off my phone, ignoring all the notifications despite how much they bothered me, and stood up, stretching once more before heading to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

Once I had a taken a warm shower, brushed my teeth, and changed into a nice set of pale blue jeans and an olive colored sweater I had bought with Kevin, I tied up my hair and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast, stomach growling a little.

As I started preparing to make an egg benedict, my phone began to ring, causing me to stop all movements. With a sigh, I put down the utensils I was holding and headed back towards my bedroom, grabbing my phone before answering it and pulling it up against my ear.

"Hello?" I muttered as I started walking back to the kitchen.

"Good morning Ash!"

Upon hearing Sunwoo's beautiful voice, I smiled and took a seat on my couch, deciding to address my nonexistent breakfast and hungry stomach later.

"Morning my sun." I mumbled into the phone, cheeks turning pink as I imagined his reaction.

It was amazing how his simple voice could make me blush.

and the nickname Ash.

"Would you mind opening your door?"

My face expression changed to a frown as I glanced at my house door, waiting for Sunwoo to say more. When he didn't, I decided not to question it and walked towards the door, pulling it open only to see Sunwoo standing in front of me holding a single blue rose ( A/N: not me shamelessly promoting hana. Go read her Kevin Moon fanfic 'Blue Rose', I promise it's good lol ).

"Oh my gosh Sunwoo! How long have you been here?" I gasped, immediately letting him in.

The black hair boy chuckled, handing me the gorgeous flower before jumping onto my couch, right at the spot he enjoyed most.

The same place he enjoyed even as a ghost.

I smiled.

"Not long, I arrived a minute or two ago." Sunwoo grinned at me as I shook my head and grabbed a vase.

Filling it with water, I put in the blue rose he had brought for me before placing it on the center of my dining table. Making sure it looked nice, I headed back towards Sunwoo and joined him on the couch.

"Did you have breakfast yet?" he asked, glancing at me before gulping and looking away.

"Nope." I replied, paying no attention to the sudden blush on his cheeks.

"Let's go out and eat then, my treat." Sunwoo stood up.

"O...Oh? Sure. Let me just grab my stuff." I stood up as well and started leaving to get my wallet and other necessities before he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back towards him, preventing me from leaving.

"You don't need anything, just come with me." Sunwoo gave me a cheeky grin and I shot him a playful glare.

"H...Hey! Wait!" my eyes widened when he really started dragging me out the door, only pausing when I grabbed my phone.

"At least slow down!" I commented but he paid no attention.

Soon, we were somehow in his coffee colored car, driving away to the restaurant he had wanted to take me. When we arrived at the same place he had taken me the first time on this day, memories filled my head and a sad smile took over my face.

"What's wrong?" Sunwoo asked, noticing my expression.

I shrugged.

"Nothing."

Sunwoo POV

Once Ashlyn and I were seated and we had ordered the food we wanted, we had small conversations, occasoinally laughing and me watching her eyes light up. Although I could sense some sadness from her, Ashlyn seemed content to not talk about it so I decided to respect her wishes and didn't say anything, only wanting her to smile. Once the food had arrived, we both began eating, my mind desperately trying not to think of how beautiful she looked.

"You know, forecast says it's gonna rain today." I informed, knowing Ashlyn loved rain.

Her eyes slightly widened, a shocked expression crossing her face. Not what I expected.

"The food is really good." she said instead, looking down and grabbing another large bite.

She ended up choking and I pushed water towards her, holding back my laughter. She noticed my amused face and shot me yet another playful glare.

Ashlyn POV

Without warning, a wide blush appeared on my cheeks as I fully remembered what had happened today.

We were at the same restaurant, just with different clothes and at a slightly different time. Our day had started of differently, we both had different memories, our food was different, everything was different.

but what was really making me blush was not just the memories of the restaurant.

It was something else, something very beautiful that had taken place today.

Today, Sunwoo had given me the most beautiful memory of my life.

and so soon when we went outside and it started raining, I knew where it would lead to. When we both jumped and played around laughing before heading to his car, I knew what would happen. When he started complaining about rain with an angry expression on his face and caught me staring at him, I knew this moment wasn't going to be different.

and when he whispered "Ash" and placed his lips on mine, I knew that I wasn't going to let him go this time.
