Little ophelia was lying down on the little garden filled with colorful flowers with a book in her hand, as she leaned on the big tree. the wind caressed her beautiful chestnut hair as she read through the lines of the romance novel she had recently bought from the town's bookshop. She likes to visit the town once a week, with her mother's supervision of course, and she always makes sure to visit the bookshop.
"Ophelia, sweetheart, come inside please. breakfast is ready." her mother's gentle voice called. The beautiful girl looked towards her mother and her eyes filled with excitement.
"coming mother" she said with a big smile which she always wore whenever breakfast was mentioned.
she stood up and dusted her white dress with her delicate hands. once satisfied, she strolled towards the small cottage and went inside.

"Good morning darling," her mother said with a gentle smile.
"Good morning mother! hmm smells so good as always,"
" well take a sit then sweetheart. i've made blueberry pancakes, your favorite" her mother said as she placed the plate in front of her daughter.
Ophelia's eyes sparkled as she looked at the delicious meal in front of her. she mumbled a quite thank you to her mother as she ate her food. as she was eating, her mother, Celeste, cleared her throat and prepared her self to tell her daughter the plan for today.
" Sweetheart, i have to go into town today to help in the bakery, apparently the new baker i hired has gotten ill." she said, looking sadly at her daughter, knowing she was going to be sad for having to stay alone.
Ophelia looked at her mother with sad eyes and nodded her head, not wanting to make her mother upset.
" it's okay momma, i'm a big girl now, and i also have cheddar to keep me company," she said as she looked at their black and white cat "maybe i can also go on a walk around the lake" she finished and gave her mother a genuine smile.
Her mother sighed in relief and smiled at her daughter. she held ophelia's hand and stroked her soft hair.
" That's ok honey, just make sure you're inside before the dark and wear your sneakers." she said and kissed her forehead as she stood up from the table, picking Ophelia's empty plate.
" okay momma, don't worry about me." she said as she kissed her mother's cheek and went upstairs to her room to change. she looked through her closet and found a cute dress to wear for the day.

as she finished changing her mother knocked on the door and came in.
"you look so pretty honey," her mother said as she hugged her. " i'm leaving now ophelia, i want you to call me if something happens ok?"
" yes momma"
her mother said her goodbyes as she left for work. Ophelia went downstairs and packed a picnic basket with some sweets and her novel she's been reading. as she left the cottage she gave Cheddar a kiss and hugged him.
she walked for awhile until she reached the lake and lay her blanket down. she sat on the blanket and relaxed while looking at the beautiful lake, unaware of the beast who was staring at her.

Alexander was on a run after the meeting with the vampire king. he was on edge and upset because the vampire king was accompanied by his beloved. Alexander envied him for it. as he was running he smelled the most amazing scent. Lavender and vanilla. He began following the scent and came across a lake, and beside the edge of the lake lay the most beautiful angel he's ever seen. He instantly knew that after decades, Alexander Orlov has finally found his mate. his beast was nearly jumping from happiness as Alexander wondered why he hasn't taken this route before. Before revealing himself to the beautiful angel, he decided to shift back to his human form. being a lyacn king, Alexander's clothes stayed on him while shifting so he was thankful for that. he slowly walked towards his mate, not wanting to startle her.
"Hello flower," he said, cursing himself as his angel jumped from the sudden loud voice.
Ophelia looked up at the stranger and instead of feeling fear, for some unknown reason she felt safe. she gave him a big smile and looked down blushing at the greek god in front of her.
" hello-o m-mister," she stuttered and felt embarrassed for not talking decently.
Alexander was mesmerized by her smile and her sweet voice that could bring any man to his knees.
" do you mind if i join you?" He said while giving her the softest smile he could.
" oh, yes please, come sit, i was just about to take out the sweets. my mother owns a bakery in town so she makes the best sweets you could ever taste!" she exclaimed, she was excited to make a new friend.
"i'm sure they taste great" he said as he looked at his angel. he took a sit close to her on the blanket and stared as she was busy preparing the treats for him. he couldn't help but be mesmerized by her beauty and innocent aura that she exudes. as she kept rambling about the different treats, Alexander couldn't help but wonder how he got so lucky to have this angel as his mate.
