Chapter 4

Ophelia woke up very hyper in the morning. She couldn't contain her excitement. She was going to go out to eat breakfast with Alex. it was the first time that she'd be allowed to go into the town without her mother accompanying her.

"Sweetheart! Mr. Alexander is here," Her mother called Ophelia. She squealed and rushed down the stairs. As soon as she saw him, she ran and jumped in his waiting arms.

Alexander held his precious mate in his arms and kissed the top of her head. He was glad to see that his angel was happy about seeing him. He put his face in the sensitive place of her neck and gave her a kiss there, as he felt her shudder against his large body.

"Hello my flower," he said with a deep voice, making the little angel blush and hide her face in the crook of his neck, making him chuckle at his cute precious mate.

"good morning," she whispered quietly.

"ready to go?" he asked, setting her down on her feet reluctantly. He liked holding her in his arms, where he knew she was the safest.

"yes yes i'm so excited!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down, smiling at the Lycan king.

"ok sweetheart, have a good day, be safe" her mother said, kissing her forehead.

They left together, holding hands while walking towards the shiny car parked outside her garden. Alex opened the door for his angel, helping her get in and buckled her sit belt. He sat in the car and gave a gentle smile to his mate, kissing her hand and starting the car. Ophelia couldn't stop jumping up and down in her sit as she looked around the town while they drove. He quietly groaned as he saw her breasts moving in her cute dress while she did that. His innocent mate didn't know the effect she had on him. They reached a cute cafe that he liked to visit every time he came to this town, he thought his angel might like this place.

Ophelia's eyes light up at the sight of the Cafe,
as Alex took note of that, promising himself to take his little angel to many cafes and restaurants her heart desires. As they walked towards the cafe hand in hand, everybody around them were stunned to see the ruthless Lycan king with a little angel. Nobody excepted a giant man to be so gentle with a small human girl. They knew what that meant, the king has finally found his mate.
As Ophelia saw the looks people gave them, she started feeling uneasy. of course Alex noticed that, and gave them a hard glare, making them shiver in fear and respectfully turn away from the couple. they took a sit near the window and started to look through the menu.

" Do you know what'd you like baby?" He said softly to his angel.

" hmm, i don't know i've never been here, there are sooo many things," she said with a cute frown on, looking through the extensive list of breakfast food.

"how about french toast? i've heard it's good, it comes with blueberries" he said, remembering the little detail her mother said about her love of the fruit. Ophelia smiled, nodding her head and putting down the menu. After giving their order to the stuttering waiter, she started to play with his fingers, comparing their hands and giggling to herself. Alex smiled unknowingly, amused at her cute behavior and the sweet sound of her little giggle. How did he get so lucky? 
after her food and his coffee arrived, she started eating excitedly, before frowning after he saw him only drinking the nasty looking black coffee.

"you're not eating? we can share of you want, it's simply too much food for me to finish myself, please?" she said, giving him the puppy eyes that always worked for her mother when she wanted something. He looked at her amused, his little minx knew how to get what he wanted, and he of course couldn't resist those emerald eyes begging him. They ate together, him feeding her from time to time.

"Thank you Alex it was soo delicious, i haven't had french toast before, how did you know it was good?" she asked looking at him.

"my beta always gets it," He said without thinking, his eyes got wide as he realized what he just said.

" Your beta?" she whispered confused. She didn't know he was a werewolf, or in a pack!
Alex was nervous, of course he was planing on telling her, but he didn't want it to happen while they were in a crowded place. knowing his curious mate wouldn't stop asking questions, he decided to come clean.

" yeah baby, I'm an alpha," he said nervously looking at his mate. She looked at him surprised, alpha? she thought they were supposed to be meanies, but her Alex was so kind and cute.

"but you're not a meanie, how could you be an alpha? all the alpha i've met were all so scary and unkind to me, you know i'm a human right? oh gosh you didn't know! are we not friends anymore? please say we're still friends Alex, i'll be good don't punish me," she said scared and hyperventilating, the last alpha she met was really mean to her and said very rude things to her. She didn't want her first and only friend to punish her like that alpha.

The Lycan king was fuming with anger and confusion, punish her? what the fuck was that supposed mean? did an alpha hurt her? The angry look on his face was noticed by Ophelia, She has seen that look before, the werewolves' eyes would only look like that when their beast took over, she knew what that meant, punishment.

"please please don't punish me i'll be good i promise i didn't know you were an alpha i didn't mean to disrespect you-" she was cut off by strong arms holding her tightly hugging her. she was placed on his lap as he hugged her tightly. she started crying but she also surprised, was this all a trick? was Alex trying to get her punishment doubled by holding her? she wasn't supposed to hug alphas, that's what the previous alpha she met has said to her.

"baby what are you talking about? what punishment? you're my flower how could i punish you? please calm down i would never hurt you, i would rather die than hurt a single hair on you my precious!" he said calmly, trying to comfort and calm his mate.

"really? you're not angry at me?" she said sniffling, hugging him back.

"no i'm not angry at you my flower, i could never be angry at your cute self, now stop those tears hm?" he said smiling at her. He cupped her small face and wiped her tears from her chubby pink cheeks with his thumbs. She giggled at him, and put her head on his warm muscular chest and sighed with relief.

"let's go for a walk да? so we can talk more" he said picking her up as he stood up and walked out.
