The Lycan king looked at his beautiful angel, and held her hands gently in his big ones. He looked her in the eyes and smiled.
"Baby, you wanna come live with me right? in my castle, be my queen?" he said softly, watching for any negative reaction from her. To his surprise, his little flower gave him a big smile and nodded her head.
"of course Xandy, i don't think i would be able to stay away from you for long. It feels wrong and-and my chest hurts when you're away from me! is that normal? or i-is something wrong with me Xandy?" she asked panicked, thinking she may be ill because of the chest pain. "no no angel nothing is wrong with you, it's completely normal to feel discomfort when you're away from your mate. Even i feel horrible when i'm not right next to you," he said, caressing her cheeks.
"that's why i want you to come with me Angel, you can stay with me, we will never have to be apart from each other. would you like that my flower?" he asked. He started praying to moon goddess that his little flower would agree to come with him. he never realized how hard and painful it would be to be away from her. Other than his mood being sour all morning, he also felt chest pains just like she had.
"I would like that Xandy, i don't ever want you to leave me again, it didn't feel nice," she said pouting, thinking about how terrible she felt this morning waking up alone. Alexander rubbed her cute pout with his thumb, his beast screaming at him to taste her sweet lips once again.
"good my angel, we never have to be apart again. how about we pack your stuff so we can go home hmm?" he said, still caressing her cheeks.
"ok i should go tell momma so she can pack too," she said, about to get up when he hold her hand. Alexander looks at her sadly and gets her to sit back down.
"Baby i don't know if your mother would want to leave her life here and come with us. She has her bakery and the animals here, she can't just let them go" he said in the softest voice he could muster. He watched as her frowning face turned into a very sad one, with tears glistening eyes. He hated that face, he didn't ever want to see her sad and upset.
"but i can't leave her alone, she's all i've got Xandy i can't leave her alone no" she sobbed, tears dropping from her emerald eyes. Alex was quick to pull her into his arms and try to calm her down. He hugged her tightly, whispering sweet nothings in her ears.
"Baby i'm so sorry, how about we ask your mother what she thinks hm? maybe she wants to come stay with you for awhile? please stop crying angel i can't bear seeing you so upset" he begged her, trying everything to calm her down and make her stop shedding those tears. Ophelia lifted her head up, sniffling and looking into his ocean blue eyes.
"really? she can stay with us?" she stuttered. Alex smiled sadly and gave her a gentle nod.
"whatever you want my queen," he said, making her giggle softly at the name.
"now no more tears alright?" he asked her, wiping the tears from her face with his handkerchief. She nodded her head and rested it on his broad shoulder. He rubbed her back and pecked her cheeks and nose repeatedly, making her giggle again. He smiled at the sound and put her gently on the sofa, standing up.
"hey guys, dinners ready come on" Cecelia said, looking rather sadly at her daughter. She heard their conversation from the kitchen. she knew that Ophelia was too attached to her, and it was going to be hard to let her go. But she couldn't baby her anymore, she had to only depend on her mate now.
The Lycan king and the little queen walked into the kitchen hand in hand. They took a sit at the dinner table and started to eat their meals. Cecelia cleared her throat and looked over at her daughter.
"Ophelia, honey i don't think i should come with you to the palace. you're all grown up now my love and you have to depend on your mate, not your mother." she said, looking at her daughter. " you know i can't leave the animals alone, and god knows the bakery can't seem to survive without me. but honey i promise i will visit you every month and stay with you for awhile ok?"
Ophelia looked at her mother and processed her words. She was right, she shouldn't keep depending on her mother so much. she has Xandy now and he promised he won't leave her ever. She nodded her head and smiled at her mother.
"ok momma i understand, but you promise to come visit me right? you won't forget about me?" she said.
"oh baby of course i won't forget about you, you'll always be my little girl" she said, holding her hands tightly and kissing her forehead.
Alexander watched as his mate looked over at him and smiled. how can you be so fucking beautiful he thought, returning her smile.
"let's go pack up Xandy," she said holding his hands and dragging him upstairs to her room.
