once yerin finally stopped crying, sinb helped yerin to her car and put her in the passenger seat. yerin was shaking and she rested her head against the window, her red puffy eyes staring blankly ahead. the drive was quiet, aside from the car sounds as well as the rain falling and thunder clapping. "why didn't you go home? you said you had a ride." sinb asked, keeping her eyes on the slippery road. "couldn't get in." yerin replied briefly as she wiped her soaked face with her evenly soaked sleeve. sinb sighed and shook her head. "i'm not stupid. you had a key this morning. you can tell me, okay?" yerin didn't answer the question though. in fact, yerin's lips were glued shut and her expression remained stoic. it always scared sinb when yerin acted like that, numb and blank.

"i'm sorry for prying... i'll leave you alone." sinb uttered with a light sigh, driving right past her house. yerin hadn't noticed because she was too spaced out to pay attention to her surroundings. when yerin finally noticed how long they'd been driving and how dark it had gotten, she looked over at sinb. "where are we going?" yerin asked. "you'll see." sinb replied and smirked playfully but kept her eyes on the road. "sinb, i'm not up for the jokes right now." yerin said and rolled her eyes. "you're the one who called me so i'd watch the way you talk to me." sinb said as she finally put the car in park. "i'm sorry..." yerin muttered as she started tearing up again. "hey, i was just kidding. please don't cry." yerin sniffled and wiped her eyes, laughing lifelessly.

"it's not you. i'm just so tired of..." yerin shook her head and took a deep breath. "it's nothing. thank you, sinb. even when i'm alone, you're there to make things seem less terrible." yerin confessed. "i'll always be there for you. you're my ducky." sinb said and winked at yerin as she turned her key over and got out even though it was still pouring rain. sinb jogged to yerin's side and opened the door for her but yerin didn't want to get soaked again. "come on. it's just a little rain." sinb beckoned, grinning mischievously and putting her hand out. yerin grabbed sinb's hand and gasped as sinb pulled her into her arms and the cold rain made contact with her skin yet again.

when yerin was finally able to get a look around and they were on a cliff but the view of the moon was beautiful even through the rain. "ready to have some fun, rinnie?" sinb asked, looking at her with a small smirk. yerin fell right into it and nodded her head, a smile creeping on her lips as she looked at sinb. the girl left the car doors open for a reason so she bluetooth connected her phone to her car. suddenly an eighties type beat started blaring from the car. yerin loved the song and she didn't know how but sinb knew. "common love isn't for us. we created something phenomenal. don't you agree? don't you agree?" sinb sang, keeping eye contact with yerin as she swayed their hips.

"you've got me feeling diamond rich. nothing on this planet compares to it. don't you agree? don't you agree? don't get shy on me now. i learned this whole song just for you." sinb whispered in yerin's ear as the chorus was building up. yerin's stomach filled with warmth and her rain drenched face turned red. "all night i'll riot with you. i know you got my back and you know i got you so come on! come on! come on! let's get physical!" yerin's smile beamed and she joined in on the next part. "lights out. follow the noise. baby, keep on dancing like you ain't got a choice. so come on! come on! come on~ let's get physical!"

sinb always loved seeing yerin have fun. her beautiful smile, her glowing skin, her radiant energy. sinb silently swore to herself that she'd find who was making yerin miserable and make them pay because she'd do anything to see her yerin happy like that all the time. "adrenaline keeps on rushing in. love the simulation we're dreaming in. don't you agree? don't you agree? i don't want to live another life cause this one's pretty nice. living it up. who needs to go to sleep when i've got you next to me?" sinb couldn't help but smile widely watching how happy yerin was.

yerin noticed sinb had stopped singing and looked up to see sinb staring at her. the girls stared at each other as the bridge of the song played. sinb made an impulsive decision and crashed their lips together. yerin made an expression of shock but seconds later, she melted into sinb's kiss and her eye lids draped closed as she held tightly onto sinb's shirt. "hold on! just a little tighter! come on! hold on! tell me if you're ready. come on! baby, keep on dancing!" sinb picked yerin up by her butt and carried her to the hood of her car. sinb slowly broke the kiss and stepped aside, looking up at the night sky that was suddenly clear and the stars were visible. "see those stars? they're nothing compared to your smile, jung yerin."

yerin bit her lip to suppress her smile but it still shone brightly as the stars reflected in her eyes. sinb couldn't miss the moment so she pulled out her phone and snapped a picture that looked just as ethereal as the girl herself. "sinb... don't you have a game tomorrow? shouldn't you get home?" yerin asked shyly, playing with sinb's shirt. "it doesn't matter. as long as i get to see that smile, i'll stay out all night if i have to." yerin pursed her lips briefly before pulling sinb back in for another kiss. sinb's lips formed a smile against yerin's as they kissed in the moonlight.

the two stayed out all night, listening to music and dancing, regardless of the fact that they had school the next day. they hadn't gotten home until two in the morning and yerin was already fast asleep, strangely with a smile on her face. "you'll never understand how it makes me feel to see you happy. sleep tight, ducky." sinb whispered and kissed yerin's red cheek as she slept soundly. just like last time, sinb left yerin to sleep and took the couch. that night both girls fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
