sinb woke up early that morning because she planned on taking yerin home to get clothes for school. sinb woke up to the sound of her alarm blaring into her headphones. sinb groaned and pulled them out of her ears, reaching around for her phone to turn the alarm off. once she found it, she slid the clock icon and tossed it to the other end of the couch. sinb heard footsteps coming fron the stairs but was too tired to look. "who's the lump on the couch?" sinb's mom asked as she walked last the living room and into the kitchen. "it's me." sinb responded groggily.

"what are you doing on the couch and why are you up so early?" sinb's mom as she grabbed her purse and keys from the kitchen. "i have to take yerin home before school." sinb muttered, sitting up and stretching. "wow, you're going out of your way for this little yerin girl. what happened to eunseo?" sinb's mom asked, wiggling her eyebrows at sinb. "me and eunseo broke up last week." sinb said as she grabbed her sleep stuff and started up the stairs. "wow, really? you moved on quick, huh?" sinb's mom said, laughing and shaking her head as she walked towards the door.

"oh, and tell eunha to get up for school today. i don't want your aunt to drill me because she got a letter from the school. bye, love you!" sinb's mom shouted, walking out the door. sinb waved at the door even after her mom was gone and sluggishly continued up the steps. sinb folded the blanket and put back the spare pillows before heading to her room door and knocking softly. "hello?" sinb called. since she got no answer, she assumed yerin was still asleep. sinb slowly pushed the door open, the light from the hallway leaking into the crack of the door.

yerin was still fast asleep, wrapped up in sinb's blanket. sinb stood by the side of the bed and looked at the sleeping girl. sinb smiled at how adorable yerin was. sinb sighed to herself before changing into her school clothes. sinb returned to the side of the bed and gently shook yerin by her shoulder. "yerin, you have to get up now." sinb said as yerin started shifting her position. yerin made small noises as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "good morning." sinb said, stroking yerin's hair. "g-good morning." yerin replied sleepily, looking up at sinb with the cutest eyes sinb had ever seen. "i have to take you home so you can get ready for school, okay?" sinb asked softly.

yerin's eyes widened when sinb said that. "uh, i d-don't think that's a good idea." yerin mumbled, nibbling at her bottom lip. sinb raised an eyebrow. "why not?" sinb asked. yerin went silent as she tried to come up with an excuse. "because... no one is home to let me in." yerin lied, hoping sinb would believe it. "i can pick your lock. let's go." sinb said. yerin didn't know what to do. she didn't want sinb to see how her father acted but sinb was hellbent on getting her home and dressed. "oh, okay." yerin said quietly, getting out of sinb's bed.

"if you really don't wanna go home, i can just buy you an outfit for today." sinb said, slipping her feet into her slides. "no, it's okay. i'll go home." yerin said, putting her shoes on and trailing behind sinb. sinb stopped at the room eunha occupied and opened the door. "hey, get up. mom said you have to go to school today." sinb said. eunha was already awake though. "yeah, planned on it." eunha replied, waving sinb away. "don't dismiss me, bitch. anyway, i'm taking yerin home so if you want a ride, get dressed and meet me out front in five minutes." sinb said, shutting the door.

"you can navigate me to your house, right? or do we need a gps?" sinb asked as she opened the front door for yerin. "i know where it is." yerin said, getting in the back seat of sinb's car. sinb nodded and closed the door before jogging over to the driver's side and getting in the car. "we have to wait for eunha but after that we'll go to your house then straight to school." sinb explained, looking at yerin through the rear view mirror. yerin nibbled at the inside of her cheek and nodded. the car fell into silence as they waited for eunha.
