Stubborn

I am a stubborn one they say

As I refuse to eat & walk away

They beg, they scold, they plead

But I won't let them succeed

It's simple, I shall not eat

No matter what the tasty treat

Hours pass & I patiently wait

Noisily near my filled up plate

The I hear the soft sound

Of her feet against the ground

The warm body, my sweet pillow

Whose soft voice is quite mellow

My hungry tummy is finally happy

As I eat my meal with mummy

It's the same story every single day

For I'm a stubborn kitty, as they say
