Boxes

I call everyone who will listen

To hear a warning of grave peril

Be afraid dear ones of this trickery

An enticing & seductive trap

Designed to feel warm & comfortable

Be afraid dear ones of trapping yourself

In a box they say you belong to

In a box you think you belong to

For we are humans I say

And humans don't belong in boxes

We are not meant to be labels

We cannot be defined by few words

Don't look for yourself in a dictionary

Don't look for yourself in a "type"

Stop drawing lines around you

Stop adopting definitions that trap you

You maybe what you think you are

You might be what they think you are

But guess what, my dear?

You may also be much much more
