Hey Iris. You looked beautiful today. You had your gaze attached to the sky and I had a clear view of your perfect face— your fingers fiddled with your silver necklace that I got you from the school's gift shop, your hair slipped to the side of your neck, and your eyes. God, it was like they were filled with the whole entire galaxy. The stars, the sun, the moon. They were all there.
That's kind of when I knew that I love you.
I love seeing you laugh at my jokes and play with my hair. I love the gleam in your eyes when you talk about something that's special to you. I love the mean walls you put up around others, only to let me see them down later. Remember when we were in the garden and I told you how much I needed you?— I meant it. I need you more than anything because you're the most important person in my life.
And I know that you said that love will only hold you back, but I'd never do that. You're going to become a famous author, and poet, and whatever amazing fucking thing that you do, and I'll hold your hand along the way— even though you don't even need my hand. I'll still be there for moral support. I'm never leaving you, even when you really want me to. I love you, and I know that's scary, but trust me when I say this—
you are my everything.
