LEAH WAS FORCED INTO A small room with Sam, Bucky and Dr.Raynor. She had tried to insist on staying outside, but that hadn't been an option. She had received a pointed look from her therapist at the suggestion, causing her to hide away in the corner of the room. She stood against the wall, leaning on it, while the former Winter Soldier sat next to Sam. They were openly showing their dismay with the situation; both sighs and groans leaving their parted lips every few second to highlight their discomfort.

«This is ridiculous.»

«Yeah. I agree.»

Christina didn't seem too troubled by the lack of excitement and enthusiasm inside the room. «See? Making progress already,» She practically beamed at them.

Leah scrunched her nose and leaned more against the cold wall behind her sore body. Her dark hair fell over her face and she ran her hand up the back of her neck, eyes closing briefly. A gentle breath of air left her lips, her knuckles moving down to brush against her shirt, the soft fabric hugging her fingers.

«So, who wants to go first? Bucky? Sam? Leah?»

The trio wasn't very talkative— to say the least— and it was starting to look like a waste of time to even try to get any of them to speak their mind. Dr. Raynor decided it was appropriate to try soul-gazing. Fortunately for Leah, she didn't have to cram into the same small space as the taller males. It was quite amusing to watch Sam and Bucky interact, the duo being unable to take the task that they had been given seriously. Leah couldn't help but grimace as they bickered over their legs and how they were positioned.

«Are you guys done yet?» Leah groaned from
her spot, feeling them glare at her. She couldn't help but be impatient, knowing they had more important things to handle.

«All right, James, why does Sam aggravate you? And don't say something childish.» Christina cut them off, looking between the grown men.

The younger female waited for his answer, along with Sam. They knew it was connected to Steve and the shield. Bucky didn't seem like a materialistic person and he wasn't, but Leah could tell the shield meant more to him than anything else.

«Why did you give up that shield?» He finally asked. It sounded like he had been dying to ask that question.

«Why are you making such a big deal out of something that has nothing to do with you?»

«Steve believed in you. He trusted you. He gave you that shield for a reason. That shield, that is... that is everything he stood for. That is his legacy. He gave you that shield, and you threw it away like it was nothing.» Bucky spoke, his jaw clenched.

«Shut up-»

«So maybe he was wrong about you. And if he was wrong about you, then he was wrong about me.» The super-soldier said, his voice cracking at the end.
