"You don't think they're ever going to stop?" I ask Chan as we stood side by side at the doorway to the kitchen. Jaebum and Yeonwoo were arguing whether they should make the soup spicy or meaty, as Yeonwoo held a spicy jar of kimchi around her hand, whilst Jaebum had a pack of beef on his hands.

"We're doing spicy! Would you look at the weather?"

"What does the spice have got to do with the temperature? It's heat not spice, and obviously, meat is for the win on this one!" Jaebum argued.

"I don't think so." Chan whispered back to me.

Chan offered to take me home, but as we walked to the apartment, Jaebum was also taking Yeonwoo home. So instead, we decided to have a home cooked meal together. The other two insisted that they make dinner, but they couldn't decide which soup to make.

"Spicy!"

"Hell no! Meaty!"

They kept bickering, until Yeonwoo decided to stick out her tongue at Jaebum. Jaebum did the same. "Nyenyenyenye! Loser! You just can't debate against me, a lawyer!" Jaebum pointed to himself.

"Loser! You just have no taste buds. Unlike me, a doctor, who knows which part to stab in your tongue for your taste buds to be revived. Nyenyenyenye that, bumass." Yeonwoo spat venomously.

"Here's an idea. How about you both add kimchi and beef, hmm? Won't that be a problem?" Chan asked, crossing his arms over his chest. He has the sleeves of his white polo rolled up, so it made his arms stand out, his silver wristwatch glimmering against the light.

He just finds a way to make everything about him so attractive that it's stupid. He could wear a chicken costume and find a way to make himself still so elegant and attractive.

"And the CEO wins on this one. Wow, Dae Young, you got a really..." Jaebum's voice suddenly wavered, seeing how Chan seemed so intimidating for him. Jaebum can seem intimidating inside the court, but somehow when he faces Chan, he turns to a lost pup.

He gulps.

"Uh...Creative? Wait no. Efficient? I can't find the right word." He smiles sheepishly.

"The water's boiling too much--Jaebum put the lid on, ass hat!"

The two continue on with their cooking as I lead Chan to the living room to cool off and rest down. He sits down and pats the space beside him, to which I happily sit on. We sat in silence, both sighing in relief. "Is it okay if I hold your hand?" He asks me to which I nod to.

He interlaced our fingers as he placed them on his thigh, while I rest my head on his shoulder. He kisses on my forehead and relaxes. "This feels nice." He smiles as I look up at him.

"Comfy?" I ask him, and as a response, he nods. "Very." He says, as he rubs circles on my hand with his thumb.

"You know what I always thought before, when I saw your resume?" He asked.

"What is it?" I ask, and then he points at me with his other hand. "You have a crazy high IQ. If I could remember, it was a 178." He says, a smile lifting up his lips.

"Oh yeah, that..." I sheepishly say, as I sit up straight. I was never really proud of any of my achievements. Especially growing up. All I knew was that I did my best efforts in everything I do, and never really minded any of the results.

"What do you mean, oh yeah, that ? Dae Young, that's amazing, how could you be not proud of that?" Chan asks.

"I guess I just don't really like flaunting off my achievements. Heck, my mom even flaunts me off to her friends before, and sometimes I get really flustered about it. It's just that I prefer to keep my achievements to myself and typing that on my resume was kind of...Uh...weird? I don't know. Wait. Speaking off, I need to talk to my mom on the phone." I say, as I stand up as he nods.
