tw // mention of rape

"Follow me." He says, as he places his hands inside his pants pockets, as he swiftly walks across the hallways.

He seems so elegant and composed. The way he's dressed now seems far more formal than his turtleneck in the party last week. His hair was gelled back, whilst swiftly and elegantly walking across the halls. While placing his hands inside his pockets, a few workers stopped to bow at him, while he simply responds with a polite nod.

He leads to me a double doored room, and pushes them open. I couldn't help but feel a tinge of guilt in me. It shouldn't be him interviewing me. This feels unfair.

"Wait."

He stops walking and looks back at me.

"Why are you doing this?" I ask, making him look at me boredly.

"You want the job or not? I like to treasure my time." He snarkily replies, making me bite my lower lip in frustration. He's aggressive at work hours, noted.

I follow suit, as he leans on his desk, crossing his arms on his chest. He juts his chin on to the couch. I take it as a sign to sit down. I plop myself on the black leather couch, taking the opportunity to look at the surroundings.

The office he had has a black and white interior, while a chandelier lighting up the room. Behind his swivel chair was a large window that had a great view of the city.

"So. First off, quick question." He then eyes me intently, scrutinizing me.

"Ask away." I cross my legs.

"Do you know or... prefer any type of...Designer brands?" He asks, tilting his head as he squints his eyes at me.

What? Is that question necessary? I don't even know a single one. Sure, there's...Um...Chanele? And Burberry? I don't know. Are these people? Yeonwoo keeps blabbering those words to me, and I wouldn't know what she is talking about.

"Well?" Chan raises an eyebrow.

"I don't...I don't have a favourite clothing brand." I honestly answer.

He simply nodded, then continued on with the interview. It wasn't difficult to answer, since he simply asked me in a calm voice. He eyes the clothing Yeonwoo offered me, then raised an eyebrow.

"If you don't have a favourite..." He trails off ; "Why are you wearing a designer branded outfit?" He points to my clothing.

Somehow, I felt nervous. He raised an eyebrow, making my nerves shake. He had a naturally built-in intimidating demeanor. His voice, cold, deep yet smooth. It was professional.

"I just..." If I admit that I borrowed these, he might think I'm desperate for this job.

Which I am.

"Borrowed these." I truthfully answered.

"Ah. You don't have to wear those to impress me." He says, shrugging. He stands up, lifting his weight from the table, then let out a subtle smile.

"The resume already made me impressed. You took up plenty of business related classes, and I must say--" He stopped, then looked at me approvingly.

"I'm blown away." He says, but shrugs his shoulders ; "But not enough for a secretary." He says, then gives me a cocky smile.

Somehow it makes me want to throw his whole body on the window. But I don't want to end up in jail, and end up in the news as "the interviewee who murdered the CEO with 100k followers." No thanks.

"How so? I can manage." I say, making him shake his head.

"That's easier said than done," He trailed off in his words.
