The next day I woke up in a mess of the cabin. The morning breeze seeping throughout the open windows of the cabin. Everyone was sprawled out in their own spaces. Feet on the mouth, hugging butts, censorship worthy sights to see.

I washed up my face in the sink with a stinking headache.

It still the crack of dawn and I saw Channie cleaning up and so I helped.

"Morning." I walked up to him.

"Oh hey, Hannie."

We put all the bottles aside. I don't know where he got it but he handed me his thermos, offering me the hot chocolate and I didn't refuse.

"I went back to our cabin to get some." He handed the thermos out to me, we both sat at the ledge of the balcony, not minding the dangers of falling.

"You're awake so early." I said struggling in opening the steel container.

"It's four AM still." Channie took it from me as I mentioned the time and opened the lid for me.

"I haven't slept yet." I looked at him with furrowed brows, people here are all down at around one AM at least I was, The beverage formed some fog from its warmth blending with the cold air as I blew over it and took a sip.

"I rarely sleep well."

He does seem like the night owl type. I noticed that when he's completely free during school days, he'd take naps in between classes and lunches just leaning his head on that window in our classroom.

"You should sleep, hyung." I scolded. The hot chocolate is nice, It has a hint of bitterness and cinnamon, that it doesn't seem to be made from an instant packet.

"I would if I can." He giggled. I smiled at his contagious laughter. This is the time that we got to talk outside of duties ever since his first day.

It's almost the end of the 2nd quarter already.

"Did you drink?"

"Yep." He nodded, his insomnia must be so terrible that when even in the influence of alcohol is like nothing.

"sucks to be you." I joked.

"I'll go back to my room at the main cabin, you guys will be okay here?" I stood up and handed him his drink back, of course, I didn't empty it.

I'm not that shameless.

"I'll just shower because I feel like shit and smells like one."

"Well, You poured your guts out." Channie laughed. I can remember calling for crows and the jungle but not that clear.

"Is the kiss that bad?"

I liked it.

oh right-

riiigghht-

It was the best first kiss I could've gotten.

"What kiss?" I tilted my head in acts of confusion.

"I kissed someone?!!" I said with my eyes widened and hands-on my mouth like it just registered in my brain after a few.

I watched Chan looked embarrassed in a grin and his knuckles curled and touching the tip of his nose, covering part of his face.
