Theo's heart wildly beat against his chest as he stared at the beautiful pair of silver eyes. Her form shaking as she looked at him with wide eyes as tears escaped her eyes.
He was nervous about her answer; though he was ninety-nine per cent sure about her reply, but still that one per cent haunted him.
"Will you marry me?" he asked again, which seemed to pull her out of her trance.
Words couldn't escape her mouth but she nodded feverishly while crying out lowly.
"I want an answer little one" he said as happiness warmed his heart.
"Y-YES! YES!" she said loudly while breaking down. He couldn't hold his happiness as he quickly slid the beautiful ring with twisted golden band design, studded diamonds and a huge diamond in the middle; through her ring finger and stood up.
He pulled her closer for a tight hug as she sobbed and laughed at the same time.
He kissed her vehemently, drowning down her sobs as she tried to kiss him back, but the happiness that consumed her had numbed her senses.
He pulled back while still smiling as he rested his head against hers "Now you can throw out the promise ring, my beautiful wife"
She blushed furiously at the new endearment as her heart did a flip, but she shook her head negative "I'm not throwing it away" she whispered as he frowned.
His gaze followed her next movements as he saw her graciously taking off her promise ring, looking at it fondly for a few seconds, she unclipped the chain of her mother's pendant.
She slipped the ring through it and wore the chain back again, now the pendant and the ring hung down from her neck "It's the place for my important things" she said while grinning widely.
Theo felt as if his heart would burst out from love as he saw her tracing her new ring and smiling lovingly.
He never knew he could love anyone this much.
