𒊹︎︎︎ Rink and slink.

Inez sighed in frustration as she glared holes on Theo's side of the face while he whistled carelessly while driving through the traffic.

After many futile attempts of asking where they were going, Inez gave up and just sat on her seat while pouting angrily. "Don't make that face love" she heard Theo mutter as she scoffed.

"Then tell me where we are going!" she shouted back as Theo hissed at the intensity of her voice. "Shh we are almost there" he whispered while typing on his phone quickly as he kept glancing at the road.

"That's dangerous!" Inez said as her heart thumped in fear. "I have been driving for at least 14 years now, that's more than half your age. So I think I know what's best" he commented cockily as Inez rolled her eyes.

"Oh right. I forgot you were old" she responded with a small smirk as he groaned in frustration and glared at her. "Shut up" he hissed as Inez shrugged her shoulders. She didn't feel like talking anyway.

The car suddenly slowed down as Theo turned the car and parked it in a parking lot. The parking lot was awfully empty as Inez's suspicions grew and her heart became uneasy.

"Where are we!" Inez questioned, scared of the answer as she saw Theo get of the car and jog back to her side -opening the car door for her- and gesturing her to get out.

Is he going to sell me?

"No, I won't get out! First, tell me where we are!" she shouted while clutching on the jacket and seatbelt as Theo sighed in anger. He quickly unlocked her seatbelt as one of his hands went under her knees while the other supported her back.

He picked up a shouting Inez easily from the car and quietly settled her on the ground. Inez's eyes bulged out as she saw a building. On top of the building were imprinted in golden calligraphy "Chuck's Rink". "It's a skating rink!" she thought as her heart fell in embarrassment.

"Oh" was all she could mutter as she slowly looked up beside her to see Theo already looking at her with an amused expression. He threw back his head and laughed loudly as he took in her reaction.

"You don't trust me at all! I don't know if I-" he said while continuously laughing "-If I should be worried or laughing" he completed and before Inez knew it, she also broke out in loud laughter.

Suddenly Theo's laughter stopped as he looked behind him in a start. He pulled Inez closer to him as he looked at his surroundings sceptically.

"What's wrong?" Inez questioned, confused by his actions.

Theo glanced at her before his fingers went up to his lips, indicating her to keep quiet. Next, his hands travelled to his back pocket as he pulled out his phone and texted someone.

Inez looked around too but found no one. "It's ok. Maybe it was a misunderstanding" he said reassuringly before offering her a smile and pulling her inside the skating rink.
