𒊹︎︎︎ Heart & mind
The room was ginormous with a huge king sized bed and sliding windows with a window seat which she loved. A fireplace was located at a distance with sofas and a coffee table in front of it. The wall beside the bed was almost occupied by the huge tv which looked more like a theatre.
She threw herself on the bed, relishing the soft texture of the silk sheets and the most comfortable bed she had ever slept on. The whole room was a combination of white and cream color giving it an elegant touch.
She decided to explore her room as she walked behind the wall that was up against her bed only to be surprised yet again. All her clothes were already lined up including some new ones which she hasn't seen before along with her collection of shoes and heels.
She heard that her things had arrived before her but she didn't expect the house staff to be so efficient and already arrange everything to her liking.
She decided to take a bath in the bathroom attached with her bedroom. She relaxed in the jacuzzi as she heaved out a sigh. Her mind was at war with her heart. She thought about what Theo told her, her heart wanted to accept and trust him with open arms but her mind —being the more logical one— denied it.
She sighed as she dried herself and rubbed her peach lotion on her body. She wore dark blue wrap dress with white polka dots and slipped on her slippers. She grabbed her phone while texting William- their family lawyer, that she had reached her destination safe and sound.
A gasp escaped her mouth when she collided with a hard chest and her phone fell to the ground. She looked up to see Theo standing in a casual tshirt and black sweatpants with water dripping from his raven hair.
"Be careful" he mumbled as he bent down to pick up her phone. He stood up and halted when he saw the screen.
"You were messaging William Stewart" it came out as a sentence as he looked back up at her, slightly enraged. "He looks more attractive when he is angry " Inez thought shamelessly, well there was nothing wrong in admiring beautiful people. She extended her hand for her mobile.
